“This was my second time staying at Placid Acres. It's a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The apartment has a homey, cozy feeling to it. There is a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook. There is a Keurig and the owners provide complimentary coffee and tea (you will need to bring your own creamer and sweetener if desired). There are plenty of bath towels and they provide soap/shampoo/conditioner. Placid Acres is a great place to stay while in the Bennettsville area!”

“The perfect little hideaway for the dog and horse traveler. Beautiful deck for the person to unwind and spacious genced yard for the dog to unwind. Little personal touches in revery room. Host does great communicating. ”

“They refused Me the room. They said they Only do walk-in. I said I had Booked the room on-line and they said TOO Bad and to leave the motel . They said the booking in-line cost charges a fee and that they will not allow.at to happen”

“AC was very nice, room should have been cleaned, and/or at least empty trash can. Room #100 felt like it was siting directly in the intersection of Hgwy 74 and 220. The noise was terrible from the cars and trains.”

“The property is dated and filthy! the housekeeping staff is on site every other day. The pool is not functioning with stagnate water in it. The water in my bathroom tub didn't drain after showering. I was given a non-smoking room that reeked of tobacco smoke due to the carpet throughout the suite. The hallway smelled of a dank water-soaked basement. I noticed a wet - dry vaccume in the hallway. The exercise room had 3 machines only 1 was working the other 2 had broken signs on them. The main……
