Thank you for this great review. The Carriage House Suite is a lovely secluded room with a cozy fireplace and bathroom featuring a multi-jet shower and a spa tub. We are always happy to accommodate our guests dietary needs. The microfibre sheets you mention are generally extremely popular with our guests, many of whom buy a set for their personal use at home. We're sorry if they slept too hot for you. Although we are too small to offer a "sheet menu". we're sure that, given some notice, we could rustle up some high-thread cotton sheets for you next time. We hope we'll see you again soon.

We consciously have not placed TVs in our rooms and suites as the great majority of our guests have said that they appreciate a break from constant media bombardment and seem to have a better nights sleep as a result. Of course, if you need to catch up on important news, sports or a favorite programs, a 60inch widescreen cable TV with comfy seating is available for our guests in the large downstairs games room. If a TV in your room is essential, we do offer the Garden Suite, which is our one room which does have its own TV. You might like to book this on your next visit. We hope to see you at the Andon-Reid Inn again soon.

Although we are just a short half mile from wonderful downtown Waynesville, we are located in a generally very quiet neighborhood. If our neighbors appeared noisy during your stay this is a rare occurrence and we are glad it didn’t detract unduly from your overall experience. As you mentioned, the area has a host of attractions, hiking, scenic drives, shopping, dining, sports and leisure and Asheville is only a 30 minute drive away.
