Newly renovated motel, tastefully decorated!Posted Nov 2, 2015
Location: See above
The staff was exceptional, especially the lady at checkout and the young woman serving breakfast. The facility was well appointed and easily accessible to local attractions and nice restaurants.

Good base camp for seeing the sightsPosted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: Access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the local sights
A few maintenance issues exist, but nothing drastic. Good continental breakfast. One of the few hotels I've stayed in that the door fit tight enough that the hall light didn't stream into the room and keep me awake.

Close to festival fairgroundsPosted Oct 20, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff and comfortable beds
Cons: Something to help from hearing all the noise from the people staying in room over yours
Location: Close to restaurants, shops and fairgrounds within walking distance
I booked this hotel only a week before my trip and it was the only one available. However, it was expensive considering their was not a creek behind it. The room was comfortable but we wanted to sleep later the day we had to go home. We had a room on the first floor and the people staying on the floor above us woke us up at 5:00 am. We could hear them walking, talking and taking a shower. I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't have a sound barrier. The hotel staff were very friendly, kind and helpful though.

Comfortable hotel in Maggie Valley.Posted Sep 26, 2015
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was fine except the hostess prepared the waffle batter too thin. It was still too thin even after she remade it. The waffles were coming out more like hollow crackers. After two tries, my daughter settled for a muffin. Even though the interior was clean and comfortable, the exterior needed to be tidied. Cigarette butts and trash were throughout the grounds. Our room overlooked the back of the hotel. It needed to be tidied along with some landscaping since an old car wash and building were right across the gravel road from us.

One night in Maggie ValleyPosted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: it was inexpensive
First night of our three night four day vacation. The exit door would not open and my husband had to push it until it finally opened. The front desk clerk was very nice upon arriving.
