What a shame that you couldn’t see the ice maker and 24 hour coffee station in plain view in the dining area. Apparently you didn’t wait long enough for someone to come out of the kitchen to serve you our farm to table breakfast. Our bed and breakfast has more than adequate hot water, if you wake up at 6:00 am when it is 20 degrees outside, you may perhaps have to wait a few minutes for the water to move through house. Honestly, it’s not surprising that you weren’t satisfied after you made so many mistakes booking your reservation with Expedia in the first place.

Communication is a factor here. I was in the kitchen every morning and watched you leave the property. I would have easily whipped up something quickly for you. We service rooms on request. If you need anything you let us know. Most guests like their privacy. Also, we live on the property and our phone number is posted on the desk. As far as the shower curtain. I mentioned to you that I had just serviced the shower. I may have hung it an inch or two too high. Simple fix when you tell me.

I can assure you that the bed was fresh. We leave the doors open in the lobby as you know because it's summer and it's 75 degrees and breezy at our elevation. (3350 ft) So the bug must've flown in from outside. As you know from your stay We are a Boutique Lodge, not a stuffy place where you can't open the windows. I thought you both had a really nice time. We respect your views about the lodge and are happy that you enjoyed your stay. You stayed in the oldest part of the lodge and I believe that you may have believed the room, because it's rustic look (old stained wood) may have appeared dark, but we dust everyday. You arrived on a very high pollen day. We've been experiencing a higher pollen count than usual this season and your room connects directly to the porch. Regardless, if you had a problem and brought it to our attention on the days that you stayed, we would have most certainly sent someone in to take care of it.

After nine years of owning and running this business it is pretty clear to us when we happily great a guest upon entrance and they grunt at us in response, that we will never reach their expectations. Our rooms have toilet paper and kleenex. We have extra toiletries in the vanity in case one runs out. If you would have asked how to use the Roku remote, we would have gladly explained it to you. As far as breakfast is concerned we'll just let prospective guests read the other thousand reviews across multiple platforms praising our "Farm to Table" ingredients. Breakfast is our forte.
