Best thing about staying at this place is its easy access to the Cherokee side of the GSMNP. You can leave the property and be inside the park in a couple of minutes looking at the elk herd. The location also has several restaurants, ice cream places and souvenir shops just a few steps from your hotel room. The features inside the room are basic, even nostaugic, llike the bath knobs.

Mostly all good. No breakfast. Some stuff was missing from the room like a pen and paper, a do not disturb sign... the bed and chair in the single king room were pretty comfy. Nice to have black out curtains. The door lock was a pain if you didn't do it exactly right with your key card. I would stay here again.

We had an issue with a shower that did not work but it was quickly resolved by the front desk person. Other than that, everything was clean, comfortable with good dining options a few steps away

We stayed at the Great Smokies Inn as it was super convenient to Smokie Mountain National Park where we planned to hike and site see. The hotel was clean, check in and out was easy and the staff was attentive . I would go back next time I visit Cherokee and Smokie Mountain National Park.

Convenient and quiet place to stay near the casino for an event there. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly upon check-in. The Mexican restaurant across the street is very good. Would stay there again.

Check in pleasant. Room clean. However power went off overnight. There was no heat half of night, and could not shower in dark before leaving. Checked out at 9:50 when leaving power came on. When checking out I asked if since power had went out would we at least receive a discount. No apologies adv all power had went out around and was not their fault. I do understand but would have thought more apologetic and would get a little discount. It also was not my fault power went out. I paid for room with heat and shower.

Power was off in the area this am. Made for an inconvenient departure. Shower in the dark with cold water. No answer at the office when called. No internet and the list goes on and on.

This is a no frills older property. It was also one of the cleanest hotel rooms we’ve ever been in! We booked another stay for a future event before we left. Definitely recommend!

I can only say something about the whole two hours we were there. LOL. We had a family emergency and had to leave at 9:30pm. We didnt even get to sleep there. I will say that our bed was comfortable and clean. The staff was super nice. The room clean and smelled clean...big plus for us. It seemed super quiet which is also nice. We did notice that the rooms werent assigned back to back which was great also. We will book with them again in the future.
