Hotel is in need of updating very soon!

Pros: The AC was cool.
Cons: needs to be updated, very worn out!
Location: Wheels through Time Motorcycle Museum is a must!!!
1 night stay, worn out look of the Microtel means I wont be back. The staff was okay, however, she recommended restaurant Snappy's which was the worst Italian I have ever had, tasted like tomato paste over pasta. The Chicken parmesan was over done (dark) chicken strips, at least that is what the owner said, would not even credit the entire amount of the entree. I have never had chicken parm that was not a chicken patty before in my life. We went to Maggie Valley for the Wheels through Time Motorcycle Museum and that was wonderful and not to be missed!!! The owners are great about showing off all that they have - we spent hours there.

Hotel staff were helpful and nice. The rooms were clean and kept that way. Hotel is a little run down and needs repairs in rooms and facilities.

Pros: location. was within walking distance to shops and restaraunts. hot tub
Cons: either putting in another elevator at opposite end or getting a ground floor at check in as first come,first serve.
asked for a lower floor two months in advance and did not get one.

Room had a smell like a former smoking room, electrical outlets were to loose when you plugged in, but the pool was great.

Pros: The friendlyness of the staff. Very accommadating. The heated pool was nice and refreshing.
Cons: the up keep of the rooms. Air conditioners need to be checked more often.
Location: The location was great. Close enough to Cherokee to drive to and from. Lots of dining places to choose from.
When we arrrived and given our keys to our room it was pleasant. Entering the room the air was not working. Called the front desk and they moved us to another room with working air. After going to dinner and returning the carpet was wet in front of the air conditioner. We decided not to complain as we were just staying one night. The motel it self was clean and appeaing. The staff friendly and accommodating.

nice motel in maggie valley

Pros: location and cleanliness of motel. staff was great !
Cons: nothing that i could see or find
Location: restaurants close by and many shops too. motel is in a nice location in the town.
The microtel inn in maggie valley is a very nice comfortable, quite , clean , friendly, reasonable motel to stay at when staying in maggie valley. The rooms were very clean and up to date. Staff was very friendly and courteous and helpful, no problems at all. The motel is small but that was a good thing cause there was not any noise and overall it was very quite , not alot of traffic. We really enjoyed our stay there and will book there again if ever visiting maggie valley inthe future. I highly recommend this motel, great place to stay. Wayne G.

Cons: Demeanor of 2nd shift employer.
Location: Restaurants and gift shops.
Daytime employee was very pleasing and helpful. Second shift employee was extremely rude. Due to not being able to turn off a light we tried to call the front desk at approximately 9:30pm. No answer. Tried again at 10:30pm. Still no answer. I dressed and went to the front desk and found Janise on the phone and playing a computer game. I told her I had been trying to call since 9:30pm. Her indignant response was "I have other things to do." I told her our problem. She very huffy went to our room again and indignantly mentioned 2 switches. Turned the light off, quickly walked away uttering something. The only word i heard was "stupid...."
