In bad shape, but about to be renovated.

The room was in terrible shape. There was a bug on the ceiling, the lamp was broken, the coat rack was falling off the wall, the toilet seat was mismatched for the size of the bowl, and the sliding door did not latch. The one saving grace was the the clerk informed me that the hotel had just been purchased 3 days prior, and was in the process of transitioning to another brand. He also said the previous owner allowed the hotel to fall into a state of complete disrepair. The morning desk clerk was apologetic about the problems, and he thanked me for pointing out the issues so they could be addressed. The staff were all excellent, friendly, and professional, and hopefully with time, this hotel can be restored to a much more presentable condition. On a positive note, the view of the mountains from the 4th floor was breathtaking. I will be happy to book here again in the future.

    Horrible

This was horrible. The lady at the desk charged me the wrong price and gave me the wrong room number. Then we get in the room and it smells just like smoke. We tried to spray the room and sheets to make it better but it didnt work. We couldn't sleep in the room because of the smoke. We just dropped our stuff off and headed to the casino. We came back at 10am just to check out and never slept in the room. She did fix the amount that she messed up when i checked in.

    Great service, nasty room

    1. Receptionist was wonderful. She was very helpful at trying to help us best she could. She sprayed filter in ac unit to help mass the smoke odor. Breakfast was good. 2. The room was nasty! Smelled of smoke. Beds looked like they took them from the Bates motel. The vent in bathroom had not been cleaned in years!!! It was clogged up with nicotine and the steam from shower. They were renovating the motel and obviously our room was still on the get to list.

I requested an accessible room, called to ensure it would be available and accessible. It was available but NOT ACCESSIBLE! This didn’t work for mom (89) and dad (92), both of whom use walkers. The porch had a cigarette butt stuck between the planks, some of which were loose and a serious stumbling hazard. The toilet seat was broken, the shower head was coming out of the wall, there was some random slivers of used soap tucked up in the corner. Not a grab bar in sight in the bathroom, not to mention no shower chair! The red stains on the bath tub were - blood? Rust? Paint? There were holes in the wall over the bed where art had been removed, there was actual graffiti on the inside of the doors. Several other holes in the wall were from a bullet? and from some light fixture or smoke alarm being jerked out of the wall. Shabby, shabby, shabby! When you said no frills I didn’t know that paint or a toilet seat were frills in a hotel that cost $150.00!
