Ok hotel

Posted Jul 7, 2017
The hotel is clean and spacious. The lighting in the room is bad! The staff were not very friendly but I've been told this is typical for New Jersey. The pool was small but nice. Breakfast was basic but sufficient with waffles, oatmeal, cereal, toast, yogurt and bananas. The strange thing is if you wanted water to drink you had to go to the water fountain.

Nice rate, free breakfast, not bad...

Posted Jun 30, 2017
Pros: Included breakfast, and price.
Location: easy to access everything in Philly as long as you have a vehicle.
The Days Inn is a motel, but this one is a bit more upscale than normal. The second floor rooms were private and the stairs were enclosed making it a good place to stay in inclement weather. The room was suitable, coffee maker, iron, and hair dryer - all included. The bathroom is tight, but the sink and counter space is sufficient. Plenty of room for a young family traveling to Philly for a quick stay. Simple commute across the bridge and into the heart of the historic district.

Staff is execelent, breakfast is pretty good. Love the shuttle drop off, pick up from the train station. Rooms are clean and quite the facility is in a quiet area.

Do not recommend this hotel

Posted Jun 2, 2017
Desk staff were extremely rude during check in. Processing prebooking took 10 minutes. "Full" breakfast did not include any meat choice. Walked by staff to go to the pool. Went to ask about pool towels only to be told the pool was closed without a reason. Ciagrette burn in bedspread when it clearly states it is a nonsmoking hotel.

Stay during training

Room and location very convenient. However staff at check in not that friendly. Breakfast needs improvement. Thankfully, there is a McDonalds and Starbucks 3mins away.

Adequate but nothing special

Posted Apr 29, 2017
Pros: Close to work. Breakfast was provided.
Cons: Move the smoking areas somewhere else.
Location: Philadelphia is nearby but a bit of a drive and multiple toll roads away.
There is nothing special about this hotel. Being near Hwy 38 means it can be noisy. Unfortunately, the smoking areas are right outside the rooms so if you use the heater or air conditioner it brings the smell in. Even though I was in a "no smoking" room it still stunk.

Less than perfect

Posted Apr 28, 2017 on Hotels
Starting off with arrival, I had booked a king bed for 2 nights and the hotel had me there for 1 night at a much higher rate than Hotels.com. Took some time to get the second night and the rate worked out. Arrived at the room, it smelled musty, it had queen beds, and everything was old and worn. The refrigerator made a racket every time it cycled, and you could hear the people on all three sides of the room, especially up stairs. The reception area was the only area that looked new and the breakfast was good. Other than that not cracked up to what was advertised.
