The property itself along with the amazing staff was a breath of fresh air in modern times. The only unfortunate thing I noticed is that the building is infested with roaches. I would love to stay again but do not want to risk bringing bugs into my home. I was lucky enough to not have this happen

THE HOTEL IS GETTING DATED AND NEEDS NEW FLOORS. IT WAS A BASIC ROOM. STAFF FRIENDLY

Housekeeping was not good. Didn’t show up at all one day. They changed the towels after that but did not clean the coffee pot, or resupply the coffee packets. Did not wipe out the ice bucket. Did not vacuum. Hot tub was hot but no bubbles. Carpet in the hallways extremely worn. No stoppers in sink or tub. Desk staff very nice. Breakfast was fine.

We thank you for your visit and regret you misunderstood the housekeeping services. We provide fresh towels and trash pick-up every other day of your stay. Special requests often can be accommodated extra towels, coffee, and room amenities at any time by stopping at the front desk. The timer switch on hot tub was replaced on 2/16/24 Friday, so now we have lots of bubbles.

Perfect location good experience in Williamsburg
Excellent location to visit Colonial Williamsburg and Christmas town (Bush Gardens). Nice warm and clean pool. Clean, comfortable, quiet room. vert good complimentary breakfast. Bathroom had noisy exhaust fan. Hot tub didn't have working water jets and was luke-warm on our second night. Over all: good experience.

It was clean, the facility needs to be updated. Breakfast was very good. Stayed for 2 nights they came in and cleaned room and gave us fresh towels, really appreciate that. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Convenient to Triangle attractions
Customer service was friendly and excellent, the pool and hot tub were amazing, breakfast was good. There is opportunity to upgrade and improve the sleeping accommodations.

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, great breakfast Cons: WiFi never worked and poor TMobile signal. I told the front desk anb Wifi and they said they would try to fix it but they didn’t. My son struggled to do his school assignment.

When I checked out this morning I informed the front desk representative that I wanted to share two things. The toilet seat was loose in our room, and the day bed was very bad. She informed me that the day beds are for children not adults. I told her then that should be made clear in the room descriptions. She then said to me , "well another life lesson." Wow! I was shocked at the unprofessionalism.

The pictures were very deceiving. The property is in need of a desperate overhaul. The pool was absolutely disgusting with balls of hair on the perimeter. The hot tub was literally dirty, like covered in mud. The handicap accessible pool chair was entirely covered in rust. The bathroom was “under renovations” in the pool area and the maintenance area door was wide open exposing all sorts of dangerous equipment that kids could just walk into. The hallway carpets had several large bleach spots. The room we stayed in looked like someone poured a bottle of bleach in front of it. The room itself had several areas of peeling paint and the bathroom had mold in the floor caulk. The bed pillows were literal 18x18 squares. The free breakfast was decent. The staff was friendly and accommodating when needed. Because of the room and property conditions we cut our stay short and stayed elsewhere for the remaining of our trip. Expedia refunded us for the night we didn’t stay and credited us $25 for the inconvenience.

I have always enjoyed staying at this location; however, this time the first room was not acceptable due to drawers would not remain closed. Housekeeping placed a piece of paper on the slide area to keep the drawer closed The room we were moved to had the shower head that was broken. Had to hold it on hand to shower. Reported this to front desk but repairs were not made duringy stay.

Bleach stained floors, faucets that weren’t connected to the sink, dirty floors, smelly stairwells, etc. Yuck. Easily the worst hotel I’ve seen in years.

My room was full of stained carpet and walls. The bedding appeared to be laundered. The property is pretty rundown. The worst part wasn't any of this though. I witnessed the clerk neglecting to verify a patron by ID before rekeying a room! Very unsafe!

Should have given us a new room.
My family was staying 1 night. When we got to our room there was a large fan blowing on a section of the carpet by the ac unit. I went to rhe front desk attendant who came and removed it and said it was there because thw ac unit was drained. The room was musty and the carpwt on the side of the bed was still wet. I had to plug the ac unit in and it did not work well. Rather uncomfortable night. In the morning a maintenance man tried opening the door at 8am and said he thought we had checked out. Would not recommend this hotel.

place is nice and quiet. Michelle at the desk is awesome! We were a late check in and I called just to let them know and she was super nice, then when we checked in I went to the room and the door handle broke in my hand and she got us into another room right away. Did not care for the breakfast (use to be much better!) and weird large bleach patches all down the hallway. Room smelled like bleach but eventually you got use to it.

I never leave bad reviews, but we were very disappointed in the condition of the room. It is in desperate need of repairs and updates. The shower curtain rod was coming out of the wall and the curtain wouldn’t stay closed because of this. There were massive carpet stains all down the hallway. The whole time we were there they had a towel in front of a vending machine apparently soaking up a leak. The staff did a nice job with the dining room and the free breakfast, though.

Check in was good but hotel is very run down with dirty carpets and generally tired decor. Once in the room found that have the net curtain had been ripped off and was missing. Mold and peeling paint in bathroom and no plug in the basin or bath. To top it all no coffee maker or hair dryer in the room . Apparently removed due to COVID. (Eventually reluctantly supplied by reception)Although the pandemic is over they have not been replaced. There are plenty of hotels to choose from in the area. Just don't choose this one.

The front area is very nice and clean. Everyone that worked the front desk were very friendly. However when we got up to the third floor, the whole carpet is stained or has bleach spots. We got to our door and the door handle feel off. When I took a shower the next day, we couldn't get the shower curtain to stay open (kept sliding to be fully in the middle of the bar). Due to this, no matter how hard we tried, the whole bathroom got all wet. We discussed it with the cleaning person and she showed us how the shower curtain bar was broken. However, when we got back she was extremely nice and fixed it to stay with a hair tie for us. So the next day, we were able to have the curtain stay and the bathroom didn't get all wet. I was very excited to see that they had boiled eggs the next morning. However, disappointed to start peeling the eggs to find that they were actually soft boiled, so I wasn't able to eat them. This could be a nice hotel, but the third floor needs major improvements.

Front staff at check-in were very kind and helpful. Hotel was clean, convenient location, but in nee a little facelift. We stayed for a night and don't need fancy, just a comfy bed in a clean hotel. This hotel checked those boxes and had a nice breakfast.

This was a very nice hotel. It was close to everything we wanted to do including Water Country USA. The staff was very friendly and the maid service was excellent. The beds were comfortable and the pool was really nice. We woule stay here again

The first room we were in had no water pressure in bathroom sink. Then we got changed to a room where air-conditioning blower only blew half the side. Then manager gave us a suite and said maybe we should have booked one to begin with.
