The staff was rude at times and other hotels in the same area have better amenities and breakfast included. Also, they charge for a pack-and-play (or what they call a crib) per night while other hotels in the same area don’t.

We were not treated well, or properly greeted, at the front desk. Then, to top it off, when we tried ordering room service, it took 1 1/2 hours to get it. My wife went down to retrieve the food, and the manager said he would make sure it was the first meal to come out of the kitchen. 20 minutes later, she received the food, without an apology, and without any discounts. We are Hilton honors members, as well. And, we prefer to stay at Doubletree when possible. But, unless this property reaches out to apologize and rectify this situation, we’ll stay someplace else when we take a trip to Williamsburg.

We apologize for the unfair treatment you experienced at our hotel. Our main goal is to make you feel comfortable and safe and make sure you are accomodated from check in to check out, it is a huge priority to us that any guest who checks into our hotelk gets the proper Hilton family treatment no matter what status, please contact our guest services department on the property and they will be more than happy to make up for the unpleasant experience you never should've received

We were only one of a few families staying here during February break. The hotel is huge! We used the indoor pool, gym and on-site breakfast. We were asked to move rooms after the first night, but the staff was accommodating. Super close to Busch Gardens too!

The room was fine. When I tried to add a night to our reservation, the front desk person refused to help me and told me to do it online. The onsite restaurant wasn't open, which was frustrating and inconvenient. Overall, it was a disappointing experience in terms of service and amenities.

The front staff was wonderful. We arrived at our room and found out our refrigerator didn’t worked. Tried to call the front desk but the phone didnt work. The refrigerator was replaced. Woke up to get item out of the fridge and everything was frozen. The room was dark with limited lights to brighten the dark areas.

When we picked the hotel, was definitely because we were looking for a cheap price. The hotel is not a high end but not on the low side either. We just wanted to spend one night to rest our bodies in a clean place. The front desk person was very pleasant, we reinforced that we just needed a clean room. To make it shot, the room had a horrible musty smell, stains all over the carpet, dust behind the doors. The bed sheets seemed to be clean but the smell gave me a bad allergy/sinus attack. It amazes me how reviews can be deceiving.

Stayed for 4 nights in a suite. The furniture had stains and the comforter was dirty. We requested maid service one morning right before heading out for a few hours. They hadn’t come by the time we got back and showed up later when we were in the room. They were so irritated when we asked if they could come back, I called the front desk and canceled the request because I didn’t want a disgruntled person coming in our room. On the other hand, the pool was great for our 4 year old, the gym was nice, and the rates were decent.

Nothing "deluxe" about "deluxe"
Hotels.com made me upgrade due to the room not being available for an extra $190 per night. It was "Deluxe King" and should of had a nice balcony and the pictures online looked great. Upon arrival there was no balcony, super small bathroom, and nothing "deluxe" about it. The hotel itself was nice but having to spend almost $450 per night for a room with a king bed, small desk, and small bathroom was ridiculous.
