When a guest calls to reserve, we have an opportunity to discuss any special needs they may have. The room you booked is clearly listed on our website as having one queen bed and one twin bed. This may not be the best arrangement for three independent adults (as were in your party). Had we had the opportunity, we would have recommended you book two rooms. Our staff works very hard to ensure the cleanliness of the rooms, and I will pass your compliments on to them.Our breakfast consists of Yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, in-house baked muffin tops, breads, oatmeal, applesauce, and our house blend granola. For those who want something more substantial, there are two restaurants adjacent to us that offer a full menu. The style of our rooms is meant to reflect another time. They are regularly maintained and updated.I enjoyed speaking with you all at breakfast. The room is actually priced a little over 300.00 with the third person.

We do understand the stairs can be challenging to those with mobility issues. We do our best to make sure guests understand all rooms are on the second floor. Unless arriving after hours we are available to help with luggage. Understanding it can be confusing to locate our door we send out detailed instructions two days out to help. Post pandemic we find many guests do not want us to enter their rooms. We have information on every dresser that mentions we are happy to freshen rooms if you let us know. I am very sorry you were so disappointed with your stay.
