Nice space for the money. There seemed to be a lot of amenities, but we didn't really use anything other than the gym. The gym was very nice for a hotel gym. There was a messy pile of trash/supplies (not sure which) right out side our door by the stairs, It was there the entire time we were there (Thursday - Sunday). It was very unsightly.

I liked the convenience of location and pleasant check in. Office checkin was attractive but outside of our building was covered in trash. It took several hours and 2 phone calls to the office to get it cleaned up. We also were not happy with the unexpected time share sales pitch that was relentless.

Much to like. Lots of fun if you had young kids. My teenager liked the sauna and gym. TVs didn’t work but maintenance came to fit. No place For drinks at resort. No water or ice in building and no water in fridge but again they got for us. Roomy with a kitchen area.

Construction right out our front door the 3 days we stayed. Told front desk about our unit front door would not stay closed but never got it fixed. The whole checking in and then being sent to a different person to try and con you into going to the 90 minute timeshare presentation. They were charging $45 - so that when you don't show up, it's non-refundable.

Fantastic for families! My kids loved the amenities including indoor and outdoor pool, free arcade games, mini golf, tennis and more. We were minutes from all the Williamsburg attractions. I definitely recommend and would go again!

From check-in to check out, it was an amazing experience. The rooms were nicely appointed. Tget had everything to make our stay like being at home. The location is convenient and neighborhood is safe. One of the things i liked most was tye security and gated entry. I checked other vacation communities in Willismsburg and they did not have the same. As far as the resrt grounds, they were amazing from the firepit to the heared pool. Ohbyeah the free arcade. There is an onsite resturant, tennis and basketball hoop. The sauna and wxcercuse room round out this wonderful experience. If you are looking for a great vacation spot Wyndam Kingsgate in Williamsburg Va is the place to go. There is anazing food. From greek to The World if Food(an amazing dining experience. There is Busch Gardens or to just Stroll the campus of William and Mary or Colonial Williamsburg.

We liked that we could all stay together and have room to spread out in the living room, dining room and kitchen. Our grandson really liked the game room. We didn't really have time to do anything else. We were disappointed in The Sly Clyde. Thought it was very expensive for carry out microwave cuisine.

Everything was nice and tidy, with lots of space in our one bedroom suite. Lots of kids running around making for pleasant, familial atmosphere. Good sound insulation let us sleep late. Very nice furniture and fixtures ~ it was easy to tell they are looking for customers who enjoy the better things in life. I wish I had this bathroom at home!

Outside pool closed
This was our third time staying at the resort and possibly our last. The main reason we go is for the heated outdoor pool. The pool was closed and we were told four different stories on why it was closed. The indoor pool is large and nice but one of the days there were 20 guests in the pool, making it virtually unusable. Otherwise, it is a nice resort and the staff were friendly.

Kingsgate is always well maintained. The recreation facilities are family-friendly. The pool was clean and warm. The only thing that could be better is if there were towels poolside instead of having to get them from the front desk. I've stayed here 3 or 4 times and always forget until I've lowered my fat butt into the water. And you aren't supposed to walk in the lobby in a wet suit (understandable), so I just sit and drip in a pool chair a while longer.

I would highly recommend especially for families of 3 or more! Lots of things for the kids to do! You are near so many places to go like Busch Gardens, Water Country, Yorktown, Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg! Beautiful grounds!

A hard sell when arriving. We were told that if we do not book directly through them they could not guarantee our reservation. Laundry is left in front lobby 24/7 unless asked to remove. Furniture needs deep cleaning and updating. The apartment layout is roomy.

This property makes me feel like I am at home. The unit was updated with new flooring and tile, furniture, draperies and paintings. That old and dated Williamsburg look was no longer there. I for the first time extremely loved the unit and I stay there often. The resort has always been excellent. It’s quaint and personable and had everything on site. The location is excellent and the staff was extremely nice. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Kings gate was nice. Our family had a great time staying here. There was plenty of room for our family stay and be comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of supplies to cook a fair amount of meals which we did. Only issues- the beds were alittle to firm for my liking and didn’t like being hassled to attend a time share pitch. Overall would stay here again.

The Wyndam Kingsgate was a great option for families to stay in Williamsburg. We had a two bedroom suite and it was perfect for our family of five. The extra space was great and the amenities were exciting for my family: ball courts, pool, hot tub, gym. The only downer was the high pressure from the staff to "join their family" and be part of the club by buying a timeshare. Since I booked on Orbitz, I was just looking for a hotel room, not a sales presentation. It was annoying to have to put them off several times during our visit.
