We only stayed as we were attending a family gathering, the rooms were clean and comfortable and adequate for our needs.

Served it's purpose!Posted Aug 10, 2015
We stayed at this hotel for 1night while visiting our son who lives in Chester. It served it's purpose as we just needed somewhere to sleep. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't give an opinion on the food. Bed was comfy! Location was good as it wasn't too far from Chester and the M56.

First impressionsPosted Jul 6, 2015
Cons: The décor. The whole place looked like it could do with a refurbishment.
Disappointing. The hotel was busy and we queued to check in. The room was ok but there was no hot water for a bath or shower so we had to make do with luke warm water! We mentioned this at reception but received no explanation. We walked to a pub for our evening meal recommended by the receptionist, only to find when we got there they had stopped serving food! It was just one of those experiences best forgotten.

food is poorPosted Jul 2, 2015 on Hotels
Staff were really friendly, however the food was awful. Ordered fish and it came out undercooked, so I sent it back. The next one came back the same. I was compensated with a beer. Yipee

Review of hotelPosted Jun 28, 2015 on Hotels
One night stay, everything was adequate and breakfast very good. Charge for our dog far too much and hidden in small print! The broadband system needs updating, constantly having to re login.

Nice hotel, lovely area!Posted Jun 5, 2015
Myself, and my fiancé came to Chester for 2 nights as part of our birthday celebrations. We were checked into a nice enough room, very clean and had everything we needed - however, there was a pipe which made loud noises continuously and we phoned downstairs to reception to enquire, and the receptionist came to the room immediately and agreed this would be an irritation and therefore moved us rooms. We were moved into a much bigger room, bigger bed and there was also a sofa which was much appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving directions to the zoo etc and the generally cleanliness was brilliant. We both thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would definitely come back.

Stay OKPosted May 20, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. If you don't want to eat at the Hotel it's quiet a drive. If you are hard of hearing the headset socket is not available on the TV and there is not much of a volume control. There is nothing around to do so was a bit of a pain. Am not sure why no headset socket as it cuts out the volume and would not be a bother to others.
