Disorganised roomPosted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: Very clean
Cons: Bedroom furniture
Location: Chester is a beautiful city. Lots of choice of lovely restaurants
The hotel was in a great location for site seeing in Chester. The staff were very helpful. The food was lovely my only disappointment was our room. The bed was very comfortable but to one side of bed was a huge dressing table and to the other side a wardrobe . So there was no room for bedside tables. My partner was ok to use dressing table but I had to put drink and glasses on the floor which isn't very good

A Chester Zoo weekend.Posted Aug 7, 2015
I've stayed at The Mill Hotel and Spa before, primarily because of its locality to the town centre. The rooms although still comfortable are starting to get a little tired and in need of updating. In particular the lighting was all but useless for my wife's use, make up etc and all the sockets are in the wrong places for such as hair drier use. This was a Club Room so I expected a little higher standard. Food in the restaurant was good and breakfast had a good choice regularly topped up. Still happy that I stayed there but might look elsewhere next time.

City CentrePosted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: The room apart from the road noise.
Location: The location was excellent as a 10 minute walk took you in to the City centre.
The room allocated was excellent ,however, the nearby road made the room very noisy. The Kingsize bed was very comfortable and the pillows delightful..Breakfast was a little disappointing as the fried eggs and bacon were not freshly cooked.

Comfortable room but front desk staff rudePosted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Rooms were comfortable
Cons: Attitudes at the front desk, were not very helpful
Stay was comfortable and rooms were clean however one receptionist was rude when we enquired about the differences between the rooms and what room we had booked she responded and told us "you'll take what you get". We had stayed previously but do not plan to in the future.
