Really great place to stay if visiting Chessington. Kids loved the pool. Evening meal was great and so was breakfast. Easy to park.

Property was great and attractive to kids. Surprised there was no park at the hotel for children as nothing to do unless in theme park or an hour of swimming. Pool was great. Fortunately we had a cancellation as unaware we had to book this in advance. Staff were very unhelpful, couldn’t answer any of our questions at check in. It wasn’t made aware before or after that we would need to make reservations for dinner or breakfast so therefore as restaurant was full we had to eat at a near by pub. Theme park was great, clean and lots of attractions. Sadly 2 of the biggest rides we visited for were shut all day! Animals were great and looked well kept. Would visit the park again but don’t think we would stay in the hotel.

Christine ‘the kind breakfast lady’ as my daughter referred to it absolutely made our stay to be honest. As a solo dad with 2 young kids she was such a huge help in starting the day in an amazing way. Also the zoo and splash park was great for having an entertaining stay with the kids for a little holiday.

The most unprofessional, unfriendly, the management was a joke, she couldn’t find my booking for two hours, they were not welcoming, they were trying to refuse my booking, when Expedia call them they don’t wanted to reply, Expedia call me and talk to her, she doesn’t answered her phone and they were terrible customer service

Poor experience
The promoted room (even room numbers) outside view is poor (garage view). The other room (odd room numbers) view is good but too expensive, higher than 50%, told by staff. It is not reasonable. Swimming pool should provide free towels (GPB 2 for hire, now). It is normal practice for any grade hotels (at least in Asia). No game room for children. It is a poor experience for such 4 star hotel.

Great value
Cheeper than a travelodge when its quiet on the park. Food was great and decent value. Dont be put off by it being a themed hotel for familys the rooms are big and very well kept.

Excellent stay at the Safari Hotel, all the staff members were helpful. We enjoyed an hour in the splash pool which we highly recommend, my 5 & 3 year old loved it. We would definitely stay again

I must go again!
Walm welcome from the start. Wasn’t told there is a deposit fee on Hotels. Com to stay there but still went okay in doing it. Had a family room and the view from Safari Hotels was across the enclosure! Ostriches, giraffess and much more out of a bedroom window. Not once needed to use the tv (felt like i had a nature on instead :-)
