Pre-Christmas breakPosted Dec 21, 2017
Pros: Nothing to dislike so this is a difficult question to answer. Every employee we encountered treated us with courtesy and always with a smile.
Location: Lovely location with good choice of drinking and dining venues in Hoole only five minutes walk from hotel. Chester also in walking distance.
First time at this hotel and will certainly return.

Very nice stayPosted Nov 4, 2017
Pros: The staff.
Cons: Lined curtains to maybe block out the street lights,
Location: Location is good, near to the town centre by car, There were a lot of places to eat /drink locally. The city centre has a lot to offer a visitor.
We arrived early , this was not a problem, the room was soo pretty and warm, there was a tray with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The bathroom was a little dated, the shower was small but was hot water and the towels were fluffy. We slept well, on comfortable beds. The breakfast was 7 until 9 and was really good. The staff are really nice and pleasant.

B&bPosted Jul 23, 2017 on Hotels
The b & b was well positioned , but on a one way street, making it not easy to find. THe rooms were spotless, a done breakfast good;although the hotel no longer does an evening meal. The only criticism was the lack of space- room 4-for storage of any kind. ONly a small wardrobe, no drawers or shelves, and no towel rail or shelves in the bathroom- but it didhave a bath and separate shower.

Great LocationPosted May 27, 2017
Pros: ALL staff friendly and very helpful.
Cons: Everything good but, small room needed better ventilation when night temperatures reached 18 degrees [Unusually for UK in May!]
Location: Wider location good [beyond Chester] and transport links to N. Wales /Liverpool easily accessed.
Proximity to thriving community of small shops/eateries was handy. City was within walking distance, but bus stops close if needed. Car not essential.
2 night breakPosted May 10, 2017 on Hotels
Lovely hotel situated 20 minutes walk from city centre. Excellent off road parking. Spacious room in annexe set back from busy main road. Some noise from traffic early morning. Room was well equipped with comfortable bed and bedding and good storage. Some minor updating of bathroom fittings and bedroom furniture needed. Excellent wi-if. Breakfast was very tasty with a good selection served in a pleasant conservatory. Lounge bar and sitting room were well appointed although we did not use them. Very friendly and helpful staff who helped with tourist bookings. Would definitely stay here again.
It's okPosted Apr 29, 2017 on Hotels
Reasonable accommodation for the area, great breakfast and friendly staff. Very close to Hoole for pubs and conveniences.
