Stay AWAY

Upon arriving, I was informed that parking is only free for the night of my stay. I had a very early flight and wouldn't be back for 3 days. Hotel manager who was also front desk clerk wanted me to give him CASH for parking. Nope. The van drivers were very nice. The room was so dirty that I didn't even put my backpack on the floor. And would not use the shower.

Cons: Needs to be updated and fix the pluming
When I got to my room the window was wide open and room was freezing. Hotel staff told me to turn heat on and get under the covers. In morning the sink water was cold and when I left on to warm the sink filled up and never went down. I had to brush my teeth using tub and wash my face the same way. Not a great experience when I go there at 2:00 on the morning and had to be up at 6:00. I would like someone to respond back , Please.

Affordable

Pros: Location not bad and outside is good, there is a restaurant next to the hotel. Free shuttle to the airport a plus. The driver was pleasant.
Cons: Need of remodeling, new carpets, painting.
Location: Not much to do, away from shopping.
Not very clean, dusty furniture, and the heater was dirty and noted what looked like Cheerios inside the grill, I was afraid to turn it on, but I was cold. Hair found on towels in the bathroom. Sink was dirty. Good thing I brought my Lysol. There was yelling and arguing between a staff and a guest at the reception/lobby area when I checked in-

Hotel is in a questionable part of town. Decent hotel for the price.

THE ROOM WAS DIRTY I FELT I WASTED MY MONEY I'VE STAYED AT OTHER DAY'S INN THAT WE'RE WAY BETTER WITH EVERYTHING. WHEN I CALLED THE OPERATOR ABOUT THE ROOM SHE SAID IT'S NOTHING SHE CAN DO AND THAT ALL THE ROOM'S WE'RE THE SAME PRICE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT BETTER AND THE CLEANLINESS OF THE ROOM COULD HAVE BEEN A WHOLE LOT BETTER. I GUESS YOU REALLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR IT WAS CHEAP AND SO WAS THE SERVICE PROVIDED. MAYBE NEW STAFF WOULD MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE AT THE LOACTION FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL AS HOUSEKEEPING.

not ever again

Pros: location and staff
Cons: See 2-9 above
Location: 20 into down town philly, liberty bell, tun tavern marker and 25 mins to the foundry
1) the staff was fantastic, polite, speedy and I'd hire the evening desk clerk myself- very nice young lady. 2) no one can control that there was a power outage and the elevators were down- that stuff happens. 3) at each level of stairs we climbed the fire hose boxes were either empty or damaged beyond use. there were bags of trash on level 5 and 1... like big black hefty bags. cigarette butts all over the stairs- at least to level 5. 4) our room floor had obviously not been vacuumed for some time- as what can only be described as kitty litter and confetti were all over the place 5) the clothing rack/ shelf had at least an inch of black screw sticking out of the top in multiple places- not safe for storing our bags if we intended to not have them ripped. 6) the bathroom was missing ceiling tiles, and had chipped paint all over the place. 7) the room above or below us played loud music until well after 11 pm. 8) the hall reeked of pot 9) at our return (10:45 pm) the housekeeper cart was parked in the middle of the hall, when we left at 630 am, the cart was in the same place- obviously left out over night. 10) the bed WAS really comfy.
