We chose this hotel because it was close to Indiana Sand Dunes NP and it was one of our stops to watch the total eclipse. The parking area needs to be more well lighted (we checked in at 2200), because we couldn’t see the numbers on the building and it was difficult to park because we had a large truck. The needed lights would have made the parking area safer because you are near a highway and train tracks. Otherwise the beds were comfortable and we got a great night sleep after driving a long way from Bruce Peninsula NP in Ontario, Canada. The breakfast was decent, it had a variety of protein, carbs, fruit and drinks, enough to sustain us through a vigorous hike at the NP. We would definitely stay here again. Also the staff was friendly and helpful.

It’s like a hidden gem. The property resembles a ski lodge area around a lake. It has an indoor pool and sauna which is a plus, for the kids.

It was a fine stay. Lots of construction happening and updates occurring. Breakfast was minimal for the amount of people. Just seemed short staffed.

Was here for a wedding at Allure of the lake, which was walkable distance (big plus after a night of drinking and dancing.) Clean, albeit a bit out dated, but very good for the area imo. Nice pool. Hot breakfast. Our room had 2 queens and a pull out couch so fit 5, which is hard to find. would recommend.

Overall OK. Breakfast was ok. Be sure to get there by 8:30. Wish the breakfast was til 10 on the weekends. Towels were thin and small. Pool towels were the same. Service was excellent and friendly.

Staff was great and friendly! Room was spacious and clean. Couple noise issues: train is nearby and blows its horn in the middle of the night. A/c unit clanks at times. There is no way to turn on the bathroom light without also turning on the loud fan. Nothing a pair of earplugs couldn’t fix.

Wedding stay

I travel for business quite a lot. My room was clean, but it did smell musty when I first walked in. My suggestion is that they remove the carpets and go with something other than carpet. The staff was great and I love the location!

Lovely staff and location
We were greeted by a super friendly front desk agent. She was very helpful to getting us checked in and directing us to a nearby pub for dinner. The room was comfortable, although in general there were signs of age that can not be cleaned away. It was adequately clean and the bed was very comfortable for a good night's sleep.

The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and accommodating. The bathroom was immaculate, and the amenities were good. The Hotel is tucked away in the back of a shopping center. Rooms are large with a balcony ours looked over the lake. Bed was really comfortable. Room clean no issues. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast offered was good, large dining area.

Hotel was clean with spacious room and nice view.
Hotel was great and as described. Sofa bed not that comfortable according to my son, but to be expected. Breakfast didn't have any healthy options apart from bananas but typical for an American breakfast. Don't like the use of disposable plates and cutlery, very wasteful and terrible for the planet but again expected for a typical American hotel. The service at breakfast was excellent considering the poor server was on her own.
