Great staff.

Negatives; Our room was dated, evidence of roof leaks on the ceiling. Black mold on hot tub and pool edges. $9.95 per person breakfast. Positives; great location right off 80. 10 minutes to Indiana dunes state park. 20 minutes to outlet mall in Michigan city. Very sweet responsive staff. The hot tub mold was a huge turnoff.

Rooms and halls in lower level are just okay. Lobby is beautiful.

the lounge was closed at 9pm on Saturday night and the lounge was one of the reasons I booked this hotel

Descent hotel, bad for sleeping

Clean hotel, uncomfortable bed, noisy room, no fee breakfast. Our room faced highways and there was not much sound reduction making it difficult to sleep. Bed had a firmness control set to average. After 6+ hours ou lying on that bed it caused shoulder problems. Modified control to softer setting which helped but damage was done to quality sleep. Fitness control probably good idea if you stay at those hotels on regular basis but for first time user it's a coin flip and some luck. Avoiding the highway side of hotel is highly recommended. Hotel breakfast was $10/person which we skipped because the food didn't look that healthy. Bob Evans next door was better option. Just add $20-30 extra to cost of hotel compared to one which offers descent free breakfast.

very helpful front desk concierge

I can't speak for my son Duncan other than he spent two nights there and the front desk person, I can't recall her name, was extremely kind, helpful and understanding. Thank you. I don't know about other aspects of his stay and therefore can't give you feedback on the cleanliness, comfort, etc. It seemed to work for him though.

Stay somewhere else

The stay was fine. However the bathtub was a joke. Felt like I would slip and fall because tub was over old tub and didn't fit properly. Crackled when moving. Everything from tile in bathroom to pool was overly dirty, rusty and in serious need of renovation. Not worth $120.

Reassurance of safe, clean quality accommodations.

Pros: Friendly atmosphere, clean rooms, good variety of breakfast, and good coffee 24/7!
Cons: Can't think of anything. Hilton Garden Inn thought of everything and at a great rate!
Location: Great way to visit my son and his family. Always lots to do and see.
Very close to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Great Hotel close to toll road and 49 easy access

Pros: Our room was great
Location: There are plenty of shopping in the area, casino's, restaurants, but there's plenty to do.
We had a great stay and will be staying again soon. The staff is great and will help you in anyway they can. Our room was more than we expected, we had a whirlpool suite. The pool and hot tub area was very nice especially when you can watch it snow and still be warm. You have to pay for breakfast but it is good, they offer omelets, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and more.
