The rooms were a little dated and smaller but clean. There were plenty of plugs for devices. The breakfast was similier to all other hotels but they had fresh strawberries and whip cream for the waffles which was nice.

I was taken to the hospital by ambulance while staying in Cheyenne. We originally were only going to stay one night. When I was admitted to the hospital my husband asked if we could extend our stay for him and our 2 & 4 year old daughter while I was in the hospital. They refused due to us using Expedia and informed us they were all of a sudden full. Horrible experience! I would highly recommend the Red Lion though. Wonderful people, very accommodating.

The toilet was short and not convenient for taller people with lower leg issues to get up from and there were no handles to assist. My room had a poorly sealed window which I could hear the interstate traffic and wind coming through it, but they are reportedly replacing the windows during the renovation. Otherwise it was great! Breakfast was great as well and made fresh.

We were on the second floor. The window faced the north and the hotel was located next to an interstate, the semi trucks were pretty loud and noisy. The wind was blowing and the window couldn’t close properly. The wind howled through that improperly closed window as well. The bathroom linoleum was worn and the floor was warped. The breakfast was great!

Not quite was I expected, but we felt safe and eventaully slept comfortably. We were supposed to receive a bottle of wine upon check-in, but they didn't have any. They offered me a bottle of water in place of it, but the biggest let down was the facility is quite rundown. All the furniture shows lots of wear and tear. The upholstery is breaking down and fraying on the furniture in the dining area. The stain and finish on the bedroom furniture has worn off and is heavily scratched up. They are planning a renovation which was already underway on the third floor. None of the reviews I read mentioned the rough state everything was in or about the renovations. There was a major problem with the sheets on one of the beds in our room. I think they used too much bleach or some other chemical in the laundering process and didn't get it all out. The sheets were literally burning my skin. I thought we might have to find another hotel at one point, but then we decided to see if the sheets on the second bed in the room were the same, and they were fine, so we were able to sleep comfortably after that. ON positve note, the staff was friendly, but I would not be likely to stay there again. The breakfast area was very clean adequate but not what we have come to expect of Best Western lately.

All was good. Check in smooth. Room nice, pool nice. Problem came later. I have sleep apnea and use CPAP. Not much sleep as it is. So I'm sleeping and 11:00pm the phone rings. I wake startled, trying to figure out where machine is, only to be told check in agent forgot to have me sign a check in form. Really? This couldn't wait til morning. Very little sleep after that. Then when I went down to sign, clerk was very rude.

The hotel was decent for the price. It did not have WiFi in the rooms but this wasn’t conveyed to us until after I called the front desk and told it wouldn’t be repaired until 6 days after our stay. We ended up leaving.

Entered lobby and was greeted by a very pleasant woman as she walked by. When I got to the front desk the attendant didn’t greet me or even bother standing from her chair while staring at her computer or phone. She said nothing other than there’s be a $50 refundable hold for incidentals. She didn’t say anything else other than pointing me to the elevator and told me the room number. She didn’t tell me the pool was closed that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working nor that the phone lines were down in my room.

The property and staff were great. My experience using Expedia was NOT. I pay Expedia then Expedia pays the hotel. Well Expedia card DECLINED. Embarrassing, then had to pay again using my card, contacted Expedia to refund me. This took alot of time and hassle I shouldn't have had to do. Will also take around 7 days to get my money back and make sure that I do.

They cancelled my reservation and blamed it on Expedia but I was never notified by Expedia and the active reservation remained in my app. Additionally, Expedia asked me to rate them, assuming I stayed there. I asked the staff clerk to email me the cancellation notice from Expedia and she didn’t. I think they wanted to charge twice as much because I had a good price due to booking early and it was a football weekend. We had to drive 40 miles to find another available hotel. It’s also quite rundown just from the looks of the place. Probably a blessing in disguise we didn’t stay there.

I definitely feel like I was scammed. The pictures don’t even look like the same hotel so I’m guessing they’re from a different property. I could have booked the La Quinta for $40 less and stayed at a nicer place. Oh, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t even work. Definitely will not be staying at anything associated with Best Western again.

Never there again--
Hall carpets looked like cattle just walked thru. Rooms were some what dirty, furniture looks like it was never cleaned as the stains were MORE than obvious. THey said they were under renovation and this place needs SO much renovation. It is not any wonder why Hampton chain relieved themselves of this entire building. I was almost a few steps above sleeping in our car.
