the hotel could have been cleaner

The carpets in the hallway could have been way cleaner and for some reason the carpet in our room was wet. The breakfast area could have been bigger and more selection on food

As for the breakfast, unfortunately we cannot expand our breakfast room however we are always expanding breakfast selections with fresh fruit, baked goods & waffles.

Not as clean as I'd hoped

Bathroom floor was sticky Ice water bucket liner was used because it was wet Almond on carpet floor Crumbs on Desk chair Room Smelled bad Village Pancake House next door was out of business Hotel accepted dogs

Room stunk, bathroom no amenities, breakfast was

Pros: Cheap
Cons: Everything
Location: By train tracks, restaurant next door had gone out of business.
Breakfast was sad, hotel was rundown, double beds rather than queen overall bad representation of La Quinta. Would not recommend.

Not the best La Quinta but it works.

Pros: Internet worked well. Sheets and bathroom clean. Staff friendly.
Cons: Replace carpets.
Location: Not too much nearby. Industrial. An Outback Steakhouse is only restaurant nearby but that's not too convenient for vegetarians.
I've stayed in a lot of La Quintas and this is not one of the better ones. Staff is nice and I wasn't disappointed with my stay, but the carpets are old and stained and need to be replaced. Bed was clean and bathroom was clean so my real disappointment was with the perceived cleanliness of the carpets in the room and hallway. Area felt safe though and I had no problem parking my moving truck.

I appreciate your kind words regarding our staff & cleanliness, we take great pleasure in hiring and training “nice” people and we are always focused on cleanliness, it’s always nice to see when our efforts are recognized. When it comes to training our staff we do equip our front desk staff with specific information in regards to dining & activities, next time you’re in town make sure you stop in and chat about Vegetarian dining options because I agree, Outback isn’t the best for a Vegetarian! In regards to your comments on the carpeting, we are in the process of steam cleaning every square inch of carpet in our building and expect to have this work completed by the end of this month. The room was very dirty and had an odd smell. The front desk staff at check in was inexperienced and had problems checking us in and ended up charging us twice for the room. The front desk staff at check out was very helpful and courteous and fixed this mistake. The breakfast provided was very simple but was good.

Nice room but expensive

Nice hotel -offers breakfast - rooms were clean. They are overpriced though at $100.00 for a Thursday night.
