    Friendly staff, clean and close to everything.Rooms were very clean and modern. Hotel is in walking distance to most things. Hotel restaurant and bar very good food.

    Lanna Oriental staff saved my life. I had a horrible hysterectomy gone bad and my small intestine fell out of me while I was staying at Lanna Oriental. The staff immediately called 911 and ambulance was there to assist me in minutes. They were quick and knowledgeable with emergency situations and was extremely kind to visit me at the hospital. They also helped my family with our stay in the hotel while I was in the hospital recovering for 4 days. I owe my life to the Lanna Oriental Hotel staff and will remember them forever. My family and I are truly grateful!!!

    Relaxing Oasis!

    Great facilities and terrible service

    The moment you get to Lanna Resort & Spa you can see that a lot of effort was placed in building a nice hotel with good facilities. Unfortunately, the perception changes the moment you get to the reception and people do not reply back to your greeting and they do not convey any welcoming message at all. Moreover, you feel you are in an episode of candid camera because of the surrealist of the situation when you try to communicate with the staff and it is barely impossible because of the language barrier: they do not express themselves in English. This is aggravated by having inexperienced staff in charge of the check-in/check-out processes without any sort of coaching by a senior colleague. On a different note, since we did not find the breakfast too appealing we went to the cozy cafe which is also part of the hotel. Once I ordered, the waiter told us that they did not have any of the products I ordered (pancakes, bowl of cereals) and they did not have any alternative milk (I.e. soya, almond, rice, oat, etc) either. We used the laundry service offered by the hotel which is outsourced to WashDrop (and btw, it really offers good value for money). I called to the reception from our room and asked if the laundry was ready and if so, if they could bring it to our room. The person at the reception replied that I had to pick it up myself. Hopefully the upper management of this hotel will take note of our impressions and will take this hotel to the level it deserves

    The layaout of the room was very nice and elegant. there was not a great deal of room for storage of clothing, but it was adequate. There was a "balcony" which since we were on the first floor was more of a patio which unfortunately faced the breakfast room (not very private) , but it was OK. The one problem we had was that the toilet did not flush adequately but we didn't report it for 3 days. When we reported it, they fixed it quickly. So our fault for not reporting it. (We were incorrectly pessimistic that it could be fixed.)
