Hotel is located along main road, for easy access. Macdonald is right outside. There wasn't many customers during this period, so it was rather quite. The staffs r friendly n helpful. It use single unit aircon n my rm unit wasnt in perfect condition.Overall it a good stay..

This property is basic and so is the staffs attitude. To be honest I checked in, but just didn't feel comfortable. It just wasn't the type of hotel I wanted for a vacation. I checked out after a couple of hours, although I had prepaid and lost my money. But all in all I think it was the best decision for me, as this can make or break your experience in a city.

Clean and spacious hotel caters for disabled acces
I had a bike accident in Chiang Mai and the Imm Hotel was ideal for being on crutches. I got a room on the ground floor and the staff were happy to help with any requests including service of breakfast from the grab and go counter. The beds were firm but comfortable and the rooms are cleaned quickly each morning. The location was perfect for getting around Chiang Mai with an atm right outside, tuk tuks always outside and massage service inside the hotel. It was little more expensive than nearby places but not many places cater for being on crutches so it was worth it and I enjoyed my stay here.

Overall, it's a pleasant stay. Every basic facilities is available. Room size is good, even for 3 and 4 pax rooms. There is a level 4 open roof top which we sun our wet swim wear after elephant sanctuary : ) Responses from staffs were fast. Hotel location is good. Cleanliness can be improved. There is some bad smell in some of the rooms ( we booked 7) which was unpleasant. Soundproof is not good.

Great location
The hotel is just outside Thae Pae Gate entrance to the Old City.Walk in any direction for coffee shops , cafes or massage shops.The Thai boxing arena with all the bars is 10 minutes as are the night markets.Mostly Chinese clientele.However,the front desk staff do speak English & were helpful.The rooms are comfortable & include instant coffee,kettle,fridge & 2 bottles of water.Breakfast is mainly Asian but I was satisfied with toast,coffee & watermelon buffet style.Prices varies but well worth my midweek,breakfast included,price.

Imm Hotel - comfortable and great location
Imm hotel is well situated in Chiang Mai and offers a low budget experience that is adequate without being 4 star. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is basic but good and the interactions with the staff were all good. Have stayed here twice and happy to come again, however if you wish something a little more stylish then there are many other choices

Tuesday at around 9PM, I was walking past the check in counter to the elevator to go to my room. As I was passing by, the lady behind the check in counter told the young man who was working with her to ask me what room I was staying in. He,knowing that I was staying there, hesitated and said something to her. She then said something to him again and he had no choice but wave me over as I was waiting for the elevator and asked me for my hotel key..ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??? There's no pool or fitness center there so what the heck would she think I'm doing at the elevator other than going to my room? She think I was some sort of thief? And she didn't have the guts to ask me herself, she made the guy do the asking. I've stayed at over 50 hotels in Thailand and this was the first hotel that made me feel like a criminal.As far as the room was concerned, the only good thing was the location.The twin beds that were placed together were hard as a rock and one was higher than the other. The TV was about 24" and too small plus the reception was horrible.Will never stay there again.

Best location for night market hopper
Hotel located in a very strategic location, which is right opposite of the Tha Phae Gate, one of the landmark. Tha Phae night market is right after crossing the gate, which is just about 5 minutes walk away. (Tips: This is a very huge night market which is longer than 2km, and it only happens on every Sunday! A must-go place if you are crossing the weekend over here.) There is a 24hours operated McDonald next to the hotel and you get 20% discount with hotel privileges. There is also one night bazaar about 10 minutes away that operates daily. Internet speed is excellent for daily use. No issue with emails, social networks, messages, Spotify, and even Youtube. No buffering issue so far. Hotel room is ok. It comes with a mini fridge, minibar, and hair dryer. However, the provided hair dryer is kind of old and there are some stains on it. Also, the minibar desk is found with some ants lingering around. Anyhow, we are glad that hotel staff took action immediately once we made the complaint. Toilet is equipped with a mixed hair and body shampoo and some other essential amenities except toothbrush and toothpaste. This hotel has done a good job in keeping the hygiene of the toilet. Breakfast are served with buffet style with combination of western and oriental taste. Typical breakfast you can expect from a budget hotel. However, some of the fried eggs are found with eggshell in it. This shall be avoid as it might endanger the kids if they consume it unknowingly.

Clea well placed noisy hotel
THe hotel is well placed near the Thae Pae gate. Basically everything OK except that the hotel is badly soundproofed and I had to get my room changed which helped a bit. Service and friendliness were fine. The hotel is firly spartan and the rooms could do with a a couple of colourful paintings on the wall to help warm things up. The water heater did not work very well and as it was quite cold this was relevant in hot weather it would nt have made any difference.

Hotel location is prime, excellent staff..
This is a nice hotel, perfect location to visit temples and many restaurants close by. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was basic but good to start your day, would highly recommend as it was affordable too!
