Lovely hotel right on the historical square. The room was a little small and the shower in the bathroom was extremely small but the room was clean and the staff were were helpful and friendly. They had an excellent breakfast buffet included with the room rate. A lovely pool and garden area. And very convenient location within the historical square!! Will highly recommend and will be back!!

The hotel lobby and outdoor terrace and pool area were very nice. The breakfast that was included was first rate. The room was nice with the carpet being a little dated but clean. The shower was quite small but overall the bathroom was nice.

Cute hotel with nice lobby and restaurant. Pool is great and the hotel is perfectly located on the town square with tons of restaurants within a stone's throw. Pool is nice. Rooms though... Meh. White tile with thick grout. Random bedding. Not super comfortable beds. Weird lighting. TV on the wall with 2 channels. Rooms get a 2, the rest of the hotel a 4.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! Although the hotel is right on the square we were not bothered by noise at all. The pool was also very fun for the kids. The staff was wonderful. We hope to return soon!

The hotel is not at all as in the images. We were placed in the annex to the hotel, the rooms were very small and old. The room was not clean (clearly not hoovered regularly) with dust and hair around the room and in the shower. Furthemore to use the pool you have to pay for the towel. Greve is stunning, so it was a pity to have a dissappointing hotel.

Lack of COVID19 protection
The hotel is in good condition and in a good location. Also the restaurant seemed good, nevertheless, it is unacceptable to host buffet menus during this coronavirus pandemic. People during breakfast shared all utensils and did not wear a face mask, therefore, it forced us to eat somewhere else even though we paid for it.

Great hotel in great location in the centre of town square. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Had read several negative reviews along with good reviews. Believe the good reviews, the place is small but great. The only thing was the air conditioning was not on, but it was October and at night we opened the windows and were quite comfortable. The other thing is the showers are small, but typical of the area. I would stay there again if I get the chance to go back.

This hotel is great for exploring the Chianti region. 40mins from Florence and 60mins fronm Siena....plus everything in between!! The staff are fantastic, full of knowledge, advice and recommendations. The place is full of character, exactly what you want on a trip to this region. Loved it!!

Dear Hotel Management. In room 101, before your next guests, please fix the broken toilet seat; unblock the slow draining bathroom sink; fix the air conditioning unit that doesn’t cool; ensure that hot running shower water is available 24/7 not just daytime and have change and reception for the local taxes your going to charge on departure. It’s not a sin to try and pay with large denomination bills. Thank you.

Fantastic location, right on the main town Square plus an amazing back garden and swimming pool that you can chill out from the heat or have a few hours relaxation before going back to frantic site seeing around this beautiful part of the world.

We stayed here recently while attending a friends wedding in the local area. The hotel was in a perfect location and staff were very welcoming. The hotel has everything you need, I would highly recommended if staying in Greve.

We we're very happy with our stay at this hotel. Located just off Greve's main square, the hotel offers clean, quiet and we'll appointed rooms. The pool is if good size and was a blessing after touring the beautiful but hot summer Chianti area. The hotel bar offers a wide selection of local wines. I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples and families. Greve itself is a great base from which to explore Tuscany.

This is a small cozy hotel in a great location. You only have to go out the door and you are in the town square which has an abundance of restaurants, patisseries and interesting shops. You do also get the bonus of different types of markets popping up at the weekend. The surrounding countryside is very beautiful and has an abundance of vineyards. There is also a pleasant pool to relax in after sightseeing. Ideal for a short stay as you are travelling around the area.

Heaven in Chianti...!
AMAZING!....There is no other place to stay in Chianti, than the Alberto del Chianti in Greve! Such friendly folks - a real family feel - and the upgrades/improvements are beautiful!...The (attached/integrated) Diversus Ristorante fare is spectacular, and the wine list extensive and of great value. The new room decor is beautiful!

This hotel is located right in the square- our room was lovely- looking out over the square. Great breakfast. We did have a problem on our first night with the AC not working - after speaking with owner the next day he fixed it. We would stay again!

Driving the chianti road
We had a wonderful time in Greve. We drove about half of the Chianti road before stopping at this hotel. The hotel is right off of the central square. We walked across the square to a local cheese shop, then a local wine store and created our own appetizers before a night at one of many beautiful, local restaurants. It is a quiet town, where food and wine is central. We awoke to a morning market in the square. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the front, while we walked around. They were excellent!

As expected, the hotel room is small and we were given two twin beds (unexpected but not a big deal as it was just one night.) The location is great however, since it's right on the piazza, the Saturday night revelry was loud but completely understandable. I consider this hotel to be a "boutique" as it's decor and staff are very personable and incredibly well kept. The breakfast is very good and have options for self serve American coffee (not limited to espresso if that is your preference.) Typical Italian breakfast in the hotel format: hardboiled eggs, breads, meats and cheeses ... and also fantastic tasting fruit.

The hotel is in prime location
The hotel is in the main square and only 5 minute walk from the bus station. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to help you. Overall it was a very relaxing stay.

Management was very friendly and helpful. Hotel has an old classic country feel to it. Bedrooms were old fashioned but very comfortable, tidy and clean. Large range of things to eat for breakfast. Perfect location which is on the square and close to parking (both free and pay).

David, the perfect host
David, the owner and his family were amazing hosts, so so friendly and amiable. The pool is great too.. A nice size and depth with a nice grassed area around it from which to soak up the beautiful Tuscan light. Breakfast is awesome. The hotels location is perfect, right in the middle of Greve, the gateway to chianti. Looking forward to staying there again. Perfecto.

We arrived late and the desk man was having to bartend for an Irish wedding reception. Even though he was busy he took the time to install an Italian plug for us. It really saved us. The next day he recommended a wonderful restaurant. Great service.
