“There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive. The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). Lighting was dim with no bedside or desk light. There were broken loose tiles around the small pool. Service was friendly but less than prompt. Although we had only one of……

“The staff were excellent, the one who stood out was lady at reception Edna. Keep it up. Rooms were ok, a suggestion to add a non slippery mat just outside shower and toilet. Night Receptionist requires customer care training”

“Sam the general Manager is very helpful and goes out of his way to assist you whenever he can. The staff are very friendly and give you the feeling that they are to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible nothing seems to be to much trouble. The best of being self catering but with all the facilities that you would get in a hotel ie meals cooked to order plus plus. The only item that is missing for me was that there was no gym and i am an exercise fanatic.”
