Close to Gurnee Mills Shopping Center

Pros: Close proximity to the mall and reasonable price.
Cons: A door between the sink and living quarters. If someone wants to get up and the other person wants to sleep in, it makes it a little hard.
Location: Gurnee Mills Mall, Six Flags Great America.
We were greeted by friendly staff. The owner was very personable. He actually worked overnight to give his staff the day off on Thanksgiving.

Would not allow us to checkin early or a $25 charge. Pool very high chlorine

Convenient location

The state was fine...staff was Excellent. The place could use updates. We had to use the pull out hide a bed and it had been broke and just rigged so it could be used so it was very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Bad customer sergice

We arrived at the hotel at 10:45pm. We had reservations for two nights. As we were pulling into hotel, my sister who was with me got an emergent phone call saying her daughter was having an emergent surgery . We went into the hotel told the staff we were not staying that evening or the next evening as we needed to drive back home immediately due to a family emergency. I wanted to cancel my booking I didn't not expect to be able to get refunded that night but the next night I assumed would be credited to my card. The staff said he would leave a message for his manager and to expect a call in the am from the hotel manager. The next day I still had never heard from the manager so I called explained my situation and asked for a credit for the second night or even a voucher for another stay at the hotel. The manager flat out refused any kind of credit and basically said too bad so sad. I explained I stay at the hotel frequently when we are in town for shopping, and where I would prefer a money refund , I felt a voucher for a free night at a later time was a good compromise and nice customer service. Once agin, I was told NO I will no longer use Bsymont as my lodging solutions.

Unfortunately, Your reservation was made with 3rd party and it was Advanced purchase which was non refundable. If the reservation was made directly with the hotel we could have worked something out.

Pros: Hot breakfast was good.
Cons: Breakfast time ran out of orange juice really quick, and didn't re-supply. Elevator control panel door swinging open (despite scotch taped "fix").
Location: Location excellent - super close to Gurnee Mills and Great America. Unfortunately, as we were in town for a funeral in Antioch, wasn't an issue.
Front desk staff very nice. Room was very nice, and internet way better than the Baymont in Glenview we stayed at 2-3 weeks ago. Breakfast hot and tasty - ran out of orange juice nearly immediately and never got re-stocked. And honestly, scrambled eggs much more tasty and appealing than the "egg patties"....?? Danishes were also gone really quick and not re-stocked.

Good hotel, convenient location

Pros: Location, cleanliness, room size, king bed, free breakfast, parking, staff were helpful.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't really buffet, wasn't really continental. Lobby was very hot. Wish there was a safe and a fridge in the room.
Location: Gurnee Mills mall, Six Flags Great America, Olive Garden, Starbucks, Target, Best Buy, Dunkin Donuts.
Stayed at this hotel to go to Six Flags Great America. Hotel is across the street from the park, with many restaurants and stores in walking distance: Dunkin donuts, Starbucks, McDonald's, Olive Garden and more. Gurnee Mills mall is located just over the highway which has outlet stores and a good food court/snacks. Baymont was very clean and the bed was super comfy. We were able to get our room early as we had been driving all night and were tired. Breakfast was good, waffle maker, eggs, bacon and other continental breakfast items. The room was spacious and very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice comfy stay :)

Pros: Very roomy and comfortable. Just the right amount of space for five. Great location and easy to access. I felt secure which is very important
Cons: Not a lot of ventilation in the restrooms but it was livable
Location: Only a few blocks from great eating and shopping

Location convenient to local attractions and shops

The elevator was a little scary, sounded in need of repairs. Rooms were nice, but there was hair in the bathtub and sink and crumbs on the floor of the room. If I was staying more that overnight I would have complained. I Lysoled the entire bathroom to get it clean for our use. TV channels were not clear, so it was hard to watch as they may need Antenas or better cable service. Ice machines only located in lobby, which is an inconvenience when you are on the top floor. Several local attractions nearby, which was great. Lots of shops and resturants as well.
