Don't Bother

Posted Jan 15, 2016
Pros: Convenient
Cons: The above for starters.
Location: Not applicable
Breakfast was disappointing. The toaster didn't work, and it hadn't for some time according to the manager. Waffles, muffins, and other itms were small, stale and seemed to be out of a restaurant supply service of minimal quality. The sausage was a pale yellow-gray in hue and mostly filler. The scrambled eggs were preformed squares of yellow greasy fiber. The coffee was anemic. A 99-cent sausage biscuit and a cup of coffee at McDonalds would be infinitely superior. The room was adequate but tacky-old. It certainly is not a 3-star establishment. The entrance and foyer are slick tile - not the obvious choice for people dragging in melting snow and ice. A heated air blower was present to dry the floor, but it wasn't operating. Mopping the slush just spread more water over the tile making it akin to a skating rink.

Not at all happy about experience

Posted Jan 2, 2016
Pros: nothing
Cons: See above
Check in was fine and after that it was downhill. First I was told by one of your booking agents that they had a locked lot for my car. Not true at all, I was told to park in front of hotel and they keep an eye on it. Ok, not pleased but I can live with it. Then I was told the swimming pool was not open and had not been for quite some time. Still something I could live with. My room was in a convenient location but definitely was in need of a new couch(very worn out and dirty looking), a new mattress(very worn and sagged badly in the middle) and the toilet seat was broken. I still did not complain as I knew I would not be there very long due to my very early flight. I went out to eat and came back and was getting ready to lay down when I saw a bug above the headboard. I grabbed it in a Kleenex and took it to the front desk and asked the clerk what it was and without any hesitation he said "BEDBUG" This is not okay!!! He had me move to another room and I would have left if I had known the area..Needless to say I had a horrible night and was to afraid to get in the bed. I did contact the supposed manager about a refund but was pretty much blown off..I will think twice before booking a room through you again and must say it was the worst Best Western I have ever stayed at

Pros: Location and price
Cons: The heat-pump in my room was noisey
Location: South Cicero Ave is very nice with every kind of restaurant
The Hotel appearance was surprisingly good and the room was as well. A very good value. The staff was cordial and accommodating.

Decent location close to shopping and restaurants.

We were specifically looking do a hotel with a pool and this pool was closed to maintenance. Staff was not apologetic nor were we offered compensation. No fridge in room also. This hotel has really diminished my opinion of Best Western properties.

Pros: Desk staff was great!
Cons: It is fine for the location and price.
Nice places to stay around Midway Airport are difficult to find. This is a Best Western, although below their franchise standards, it didn't overcharge like the others closer to Midway. We were OK with our stay.

Yuck!

The staff at this hotel was friendly, the room was large. After that it's all downhill. There were visible stains on the sheets, there are very few restaurants within any reasonable distance and the room smelled something passed funky. Don't do it.
