The A/C/heat was very hard to adjust and the vents blew directly at the bed. The vents were adjustable, but when you aimed the in a different direction they would always return to blowing directly onto the bed

Upon arrival I was hit with a "$100 smoking" deposit that I did not know about, he told me it was because I booked with Expedia. It was 9pm I did not have the energy to argue. The person at the desk said my room number out loud, not something I am used to. You enter at the front, park at the back and use a key to get into a side door, key fob for side door did not work, had to enter through the main lobby. Room older, I had 2 queen beds one had top sheets with what was once blood and they attempted to bleach out. The easy chair in the room was dirty and stained. No grab bars near or in the shower.

We have a 100 incidental refundable deposit for everyone regardless from where you book and in your case since you book through a third party it is mentioned in their policy section. Grab bars are only available in handicap rooms and in the two queen beds there is one grab bar in middle of the tub. We apologize for anyother inconvenience you had. Thank you for staying with us.

I liked the complimentary breakfast. However; there’s a side door on the main floor that’s always open and that made me feel scared because anyone can enter from there and go straight to the elevators. It will be nice if the door is locked and ask us to insert our room card in order to open it instead of having it 24/7 unlocked. Another thing I didn’t like is the fact that when you reserve a stay, room service totally forgets about you. I don’t care about the bed not being fixed, but at least take out the trash and provide clean towels. I think that’s very important. Other than that, the place is clean and it’s quite.

The bathrooms were clean. The bedding felt like it was dirty. The area was safe. Nothing to worry about the floors in this place must be super thin because it sounded like the people above us we’re having an estate sale, Breakfast was less than desirable save yourself some time just drive down the street to one of the local Dunkins. The yogurt was expired. Instant eggs, of course, in the seating, and there was super tight. Just beware of the $100 holding fee for security deposit.

The hotel old but was clean. The breakfast staff was great. The hotel front desk, is not accommodating without fees/charges. If you would like to check in 3 hrs. early they charge and going through a third party was refusing to refund a early check-out.

The property was filthy. The carpet didn't appear to have ever been cleaned. The sheets were soiled when we arrived, and we had to 'negotiate' with the manager to get a new set (which we had to put on ourselves). The shower barely trickled out - not enough to even rinse off properly. We will never stay here again (specifically) and we are generally thinking we won't be staying at any Best Western again either... (Note: for the last night of our trip, we stayed in a Holiday Inn Express - which was comparably priced - and it was a world off difference (much better)!)

Kansa to canada
We have been stopping at this same hotel for 19 yrs . Every July we drive to Ontario canada and our 1/2 way stop is here . We also loved the renovation to the front, which made a very nice breakfast room. The attendant was amazingly friendly, and the food was very good.
