The staff was pleasant. The room was clean with a refrigerator but no microwave. Breakfast included scrambled eggs meat and potatoes along with waffles and the usual items that comprise a continental breakfast. JNT

We choose Best Western for dependable consistency and value for money. This hotel fulfilled our needs in addition to being close to O'Hare.

Our room on the 3rd floor was clean and very acceptable. For the price we did not expect a 5 star hotel. It was an overnight stay between flights. We called the hotel when we got to baggage claim at the airport and we were directed to the correct pick up location. The shuttle arrived within 5 min of the estimated time. The shuttle van was well marked and the driver was friendly. We walked across the street to the hibachi buffet and it was decent. We then walked to the shell station convenience store for done snacks. There was a subway and Dunkin’ donuts in the building too. We were aware that the first morning shuttle was at 7 am which was too late to arrive comfortably for our 8:15 flight. We chose an Uber which was $22. We left the hotel at 6 am and the front desk offered for us to grab anything we needed from the breakfast area. We saw yogurt, cold cereal, bagels pastries and sliced bread. Also coffee. There may have been more things too! We grabbed a quick yogurt and a pastry.

The breakfast was good and the service people were very nice and professional but the room were tiny, very little space, the stairs and corridors were dirty, and the elevator really needs to be changed.

Easy and fast check-in and checkout. It's located in an industrial area with not much around unless you drive. However, I was actually working in the area so it was very convenient.

The staff was great and I have nothing but positive things to say about them! However the amenities and services could be better. Things to know if staying here: 1) No fans in the bathroom 2) 1 microwave in the whole building (not individually in each room) 3) Book airport shuttles the day before 4) Free airport shuttle comes hourly and ends at 11pm local time (wait outside, not inside by the front desk as sometimes the driver drops off and pick up without going inside to check for waiting customers). 4) Donald E. Stephens convention center shuttle is free and is the second drop off after the airport drop off 5) Breakfast is usually 6:30-10am local time (3 hot items available: sausage, potatoes, and scrambled eggs) 6) No pool 7) Walking transit is difficult at this location and you will most likely bus, Uber or take a ride share service to get to and from here Hopefully this helps anybody looking at this location :)

Excellent hotel

They had us waiting for an hour and a half in 400° weather. When I called to schedule the shuttle no time table was given, so weren’t able to wait inside because we were scanning for the bus the whole time. Also heads up the shuttle doesn’t start till 7 am. So if you’re just trying to get a close-ish place to the airport for a quick turnaround it is utterly useless. You will have to get a $46 Uber to the airport. An amount you could have just spent to be closer or in a better hotel. Also my room didn’t have hand soap.

Friendly staff answered any questions I had and addressed any concerns. This was very nice hotel to stay at. I didn't have to worry about my safety and had a very well rested stay. I would book a stay here again!

The first room wasn't in too bad of condition more or less the standard quality or slightly better for a hotel chain but the second could definitely use renovation. If they simply worked on their rooms some it would easily be a four out of five star place to stay. Staff were nice and for a big city I was really pleased with the way they treated me. Maybe the owner will eventually spend some money updating and fixing things. About fifteen to twenty min drive to the airport decent priced long term parking.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Best Western O'Hare EGV! The hot breakfast was welcome and very good. I mistakenly put my credit card into the cash slot the evening I checked in (I was really tired), and it became stuck there. I contacted the front desk and in a short time, Jose was there and he safely removed my card. He was very thoughtful and understanding. THANKS!

Absolutely fine - functional hotel. Pleasant shuttle drivers - but be prepared to wait up to an hour and then a 20 minute drive from airport to hotel.
