Great location

Convenient to attractions; Water Tower, Navy Pier, John Hancock building, etc. Restaurant in the lobby had wonderful salads and wine. Suite was very spacious & quiet. Would definitely stay again. The check in gift was a very nice surprise.

I had an operation at north western and needed the week to be quiet and restful. I enjoyed my stay.

Never again!

Posted Apr 23, 2017
Pros: Nothing really. Perhaps that it was on Miracle Mile.
Cons: Everything, see above.
Location: It's Chicago. Plenty to do nearby. Just plan on walking.
Not clean, elevator was out, requiring use of stairs (7 flights), shower ceiling was leaking, a jack hammer sound was heard in bathroom for over 2 hours when others is hotel were taking showers (we think). Bad plumbing. Wi-Fi, while free, worked 1/2 the time. Valet parking cost is outrageous. Parking there cost me nearly double the rental of my car. Really? The breakfast buffet cost $15 and consisted of very rubbery eggs, old bacon, weird tasting fruit, and not much else. Cold cereal was available, not much else. There was a person who watched like a hawk since my daughter decided to not eat there for breakfast. Dare she try and take a bit of my toast. Very unconformable. In the end the hotel took, $50 off our bill for the inconvience. Avoid the place like the plague.

Getaway was worth it.

Great staff, rooms are comfortable, but a bit dated. Carpet needs to be replaced, and leaky faucet in bathroom. Other than that we enjoyed it. Great location.

Great Location!

Posted Apr 13, 2017
Perfect location just a few blocks from the L and my favorite pizza place Giordanos! Annie was great upon check-in, gave us free early check-in, and gave great suggestions on dining options! Hotel however lacked basic amenities such as vending machines, tv was a little blurry at times, and the bed was not super comfortable. There was a bright light coming from the hallway that made it difficult to sleep and walls were very thin! There was a commotion next door and we heard every single word. Would most likely book again due to the location, trendy decor, and Annie!

Great location, not so great facilities.

Posted Apr 9, 2017
Pros: Location.
Cons: Room maintenance, lighting, and noise reduction. Management needs to spend more time ensuring employees are not trying to steer business to friends.
Based upon Expedia's online ratings, we chose the Cambria. The hotel facilities are dated and problematic. It was difficult to sleep because the water pipes constantly made noise. Parts of the room needed maintenance, i.e., wallpaper was peeling off the wall. Lighting in the bathrooms is terrible. The hotel breakfast was mediocre. On the plus side other than a "bellman" the staff was excellent. Unfortunately the "bellman" was the last person dealt with and he kept trying to hustle business for a limo that was sitting outside the hotel by misstating what the traffic was light on the way to O'Hare. We had already arranged for a car service, and the trip to the airport was uneventful. This was contrary to what the "bellman" was saying about the traffic being backed up and terrible on Saturday. As the trip to the airport showed, the "bellman" actions and statements did nothing but cause worry as he attempted to get what apparently was his limo driver friend more business.

Nice hotel and great location.

Stayed one night with my daughter to do some eating and shopping. The Cambria was the perfect hotel for what we were doing. Friendly staff, comfortable room and close to everything we needed. And the price was right!
