This was the worst costumer service I have ever had and I will never book with hotels.com again. I showed up at the condo building we reserved a room at for spring break, and the condo owner was not there to meet us. Esther the owner claimed that she never received the confirmed reservation from hotels.com so she could not let us in until she was notified. She refused to call hotels.com and I was forced to be the middle person attempting to get the information from hotels to her. After two hours in the lobby without any certainty of being able to get in the condo we were forced to make other reservations because we had three small kids that needed to get into a room. As we were leaving the building heading to the Hyatt when Esther called and said she had a condo available. She immediately questioned me about the number of people that would be staying in the condo because that was an extra fee. I told her that we were already upcharged $200 for extra people. I then proceeded to tell her that we no longer would be staying there since we had booked another hotel. So after multiple phone calls to hotels.com I was told that the reservation was non refundable ($775) and sorry about it. On a little side note there was also another family who was trying to check in getting the same run around, I'm not sure how things worked out for them. In the end hotels.com provided little to no help with the situation which I consider a huge customer service issue and I am out $775

Most amazing view and location but this run down and unkept condo needs some attention. Broken furniture, outdated electronics, musty smelling cheap towels were some of the problems. Great layout and close to train station.

El lugar y la vista desde el apartamento son increíbles. Zona muy seguro, cerca de todo. Camas muy cómodas y un espacio para estar muy confortable, justo lo necesario para descansar antes y después de la maratón. Lo que no está al nivel del apartamento es el mobiliario de los dormitorios. En dos de ellos no hay casi espacio para ubicar la ropa, algo necesario para estadía de una semana. A pesar de tener un gran placar, había solo un estante muy incómodo y muy pocas perchas. Tampoco están al nivel del lugar los utensillos de cocina. En resumen,un excelente apartamente, una lástima el poco cuidado en los detalles para hacerlo más agradable para estadías de medio plazo.

Pros: This is a residential apartment building, so hotel services were not really provided. The buidling staff were friendly.
Cons: Housekeeping could be more detail oriented.
Location: Roosevelt station a few blocks away, bus stop at front door. Great neighborhood restaurants. South end of Grant Park a block away.
Great location! Spectacular floor to ceiling views. Walking distance to Grant Park, Roosevelt station a few blocks away, bus stop at front door. Great neighborhood restaurants, Go Grocer entrance in the lobby, Trader Joes, Jewel-Osco, Walgreens,Target, and movie theater all within walking distance. Safe neighborhood, secure building. 3 bedroom/ 2 1/2 bath, plenty of room for six adults. Love having a full kitchen and laundry room for a week long stay. 7th floor has pretty decent workout room, vending machines, outdoor pool and grills. We stayed for 7 days and this location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. I highly recommend getting a multi day metro card. We rarely waited longer than 10 minutes for a bus outside the front door. Taxis always available as well. The people we rented from provided great information about the apartment before we arrived and were good about responding to phone calls or email questions while we were there.
