Central location and room with a view

Posted Jan 15, 2016
If you're looking for a location convenient to the River Walk, Michigan Avenue, the Loop, Millennium Park, etc., check out this little gem. We stayed in room 3402 which is a superior room suite -- one of the windows looks west over the Chicago River. You can see the Marina Towers (Corn Cobs) and all the bridges and buildings. There is a Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator and a stereo with an iPod docking station. The room is cozier than it looks on the picture, but fine for two. The bathroom is small, but fine. There is an Italian restaurant attached but plenty of restaurants in the area. We recommend Corner Bakery a few steps away for breakfast and coffee. You can get coffee and tea on the second floor too. The hotel staff (ask for Seth) is nice and helpful.

The hotel was clean and the staff nice but I had to upgrade. The original room was small & for 15 bucks more, I was able to get a bigger room & move around better.

great location.

Parking isn't in the same building, but walking distance. The room was very clean and extremely small, however I was only there for one night so it wasn't too bad. The staff was very nice and helpful and was willing to upgrade my room for an additional charge.

Way TOO small

Posted Dec 7, 2015
Pros: location
Cons: too small for the rate
Good location BUT if you like the size of standard hotels in Europe - you'll love this place. Clean - yes but way too small for just 2 people....no storage, bathroom dinky. Friends stayed up near Water Tower and had LR and Bedroom for $10 more per night

Worthwhile location for exploring Downtown Chicago

Posted Dec 1, 2015
Pros: Clean and nice, keurig coffee maker in room. A closet in the hallway for getting extra items you needed. Bottled water dispenser in hall.
Cons: Lounge downstairs is very small with few amenities. No ice machine on our floor.
Location: Right off the Mag Mile, with all of the nightlife and theaters within 6-8 blocks. You are in the middle of the downtown.
My wife and I stayed 2 nights while just hanging out in downtown Chicago and Magnificent Mile. Location was very strategic, allowing us to walk everywhere we wanted to go. It was the most reasonable priced in it's location. Our room was "efficient" without any room to spare, but it met our needs to have a place to stay.
