Cramped, overpriced hotel downtown chicagoPosted Nov 25, 2015
The pillows were stiff. Sheets and comforter rough--like starchy. Room was extremely cramped and the heat didn't seem to work very well. Hallways and all were very small-- not a good place if you have any sort of claustrophobia. Not the cleanest either-- were still hairs in the shower from previous guests.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was great for our stay.
Location: Location was very convenient for shopping on Michigan Ave, lots of great food options very close and quick and easy freeway access
Hotel staff was excellent. Very accommodating and a great resource for visiting the city. Would recommend this hotel for your next stay and we will definitely return here again in the spring.

Pros: Just the right size... Not a 'Mega Hotel'. Very comfortable rooms
Location: Elephant and Castle restaurant right next door with an excellent variety of US and UK style food and beverages

Convenient location in the LoopPosted Nov 15, 2015
Pros: Location, room layout
Cons: Would be better if room had been cleaned in the morning
Location: Walking distance to shopping, near public transportation, Starbucks nearby if that's important to you near a wonderful Chagall outdoor mural
This Club Quarters location is centrally located in the "loop"in downtown Chicago. The room is compact but works fine for one person or a couple. We have stayed here several times before, and usually there are coffee and snacks available in the lower level area. That was true when we first arrived, but then the snacks and "real" coffee cups disappeared, then everything else was also removed, with no explanation from the staff. Rather strange. Also the housekeeper showed up at 4 pm to make up the room, and we had just gotten back from being out most of the day, so ended up not having the room cleaned.

Excellent hotel for business or pleasure.Posted Nov 15, 2015
Pros: Awesome service, room layout and amenities.
Cons: Didn't find anything not to my liking.
Location: Good location, just a short walk from many activities, restaurants, bars & attractions yet in a quieter area of downtown.
My entire experience was excellent! Extremely friendly and efficient check-in with Amy at the Front Desk, who then remembered me the next day. Bell staff met me with a friendly greeting each and every time I entered or exited the hotel. I felt like I was a long time friend of one man who I saw frequently (unfortunately I do not remember his name). I even got a hug good-bye on checkout! I requested extra coffee, and it was delivered to my room within less than 5 minutes. The Club Room with computer access and a printer was awesome and just what I needed, as I do not travel with a laptop. The Elephant and Castle Pub just off the lobby had great food, atmosphere and service as well! The room layout and amenities were perfect - they even supplied reading material. I was disappointed that I did not have time to read the entire book! From start to finish I felt like a valued guest and received 4 star service. Having worked in the hotel industry for almost 20 years, I understand what it takes to achieve this. I will DEFINITELY book at the Club Quarters on Adams on future trips to Chicago.

Great location! Nice staff.Posted Nov 10, 2015
This is more of a club - it is comfortable but not a typical hotel. You fill your own water bottles for your room, grab your own extra pillows, etc. that said, it was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and accomodating!

3 starsPosted Nov 10, 2015
Cons: The rooms could be cleaner.
Location: I liked the option of having a place to eat inside the hotel - Elephant and Castle Restaurant. The food was good and convenient location.
The location was great. Very close to my training on Riverside Drive. The check in and check out process was very organized and the staff was very helpful.

Great central locationPosted Nov 10, 2015
Pros: clean clean clean!!!
Location: Location is next to the train station which we took to and from the airport. Also walking distance to all the tourist attractions and buses.
They let us check in early which was such a big help to us. The room was small, but very clean and well thought out to have all the things we needed. The TV remote was not working and someone came up immediately to give us a new one. Bed was very comfortable. Great pub in the lobby too. Chicago is a very dense city where just like NYC, space is at premium. So, we weren't surprised by the small room or having a view of the building across the street. Those are trade offs for being in the middle of the city rather than a less convenient location.
