It was a great stay ! I loved the view from my room but the room could have actually been what I order. Disappointed about that...

Worse than "terrible" - HORRIBLE!Posted Nov 24, 2013
Pros: The location would have been great.
Cons: customer service - nobody even bothered to call me it was all done email with my phone. they were only interested in going home for the day
Location: could not ask for a better location - Michigan Ave and the Chicago River.
I arrived to be told that my reservation had been cancelled per my request through expedia. Not true. Make a long story short, they were more interested in trying to prove me wrong and collect the $125 fee (one night's stay) because of my cancellation after the 72 hour period prior to the reservation. Zero customer service skills, zero in even trying to ACT sincerely sorry & zero for leaving me literally out in the cold and rain lugging my baggage down MI Avenue in Chicago in search of another place to stay. Stay away. This company has a lot learn about customer service.

Renting an apt is the best bang for your buck!Posted Jun 3, 2013
Pros: View was spectacular! All the comforts of home in a busy fast-paced city. This made it easy to unpack and relax in between long walks and adventures.
Cons: Bed was a little too firm and the walls were thin. The noise from the fire trucks was loud and made it hard to sleep.
Location: Could walk everywhere including the magnificent mile. Could see Wacker channel and the navy pier from the room. Use bus for aquarium and museums&zoo
Fantastic way to stay in Chicago for a competitive rate and comforts of home. The view was amazing we had apartment 711, which was a corner view of E. Wacker river view and the pier and we got a perfect view of the fireworks in our apartment! Renting an apartment is definitely a good idea for a family as well as a couple to stay comfortably. We rented a one bedroom and it had a king sized bed with polyester down alternative blanket and soft linens. There was an air mattress for my 7 yr old daughter and she felt like she was camping in the big city. The kitchen was full size equipped with a coffee maker (not a keurig), dishes, silverware-even pots and pans. We brought some food with us and bought the rest at grocery store called Bockwinkel's which was perfect for the snacks and brkfst, lunch, and dinner options. *Note* Bring your towels because on weekends especially holiday weekends the housekeeping office is closed. Bring your toiletries as this is an apartment not a hotel. Bring creamer and sugar if needed for coffee. Oh and bring your camera and good walking shoes because you can walk everywhere just as the website says.

Excelent!Posted May 14, 2013 on Orbitz
It has a great location and apartment is very comfortable. I stayed with my parents for 5 days in a one bedroom apartment and we all enjoyed our time there. I only think that the administrative office should provide more attention to their guesthouse. We never saw them and no one could answer our questions.

I do not recommend this hotelPosted Apr 21, 2013
Pros: The only thing that I consider adequate is the location otherwise nothing else. It is basically an apartment complex that also functions like a hotel.
Cons: The customer service is bad and took a lot of time to have an answer about a charge in my credit card that at the end they did not solve as expected.
Location: The location is adequate, otherwise nothing else.
The customer service is bad. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody. The location is OK but next time I will pay a little bit more for another place.

Pros: The spacious apartment itself
Cons: No least favorite
Location: Walking distance from everything
Absolutely beautiful! Clean, Spectacular view from every angle, fully equipped kitchen, great gift basket, in the heart of downtown literally walking distance from restaurants and shopping, comfortable bed, felt like home. Highly recommended stay. Unbelievable price for the spacious apartment. Kudos to Columbus Plaza Apartment :-)

An apartment for half the cost of a hotel roomPosted Oct 15, 2012
Pros: location and kitchen
Cons: noisy neighbor
Location: right downtown by the river
The location along the river near the Hyatt and across the river from the Sheraton was superb. My meeting was at the Sheraton - I had an apartment with a kitchen 5 minutes away for half the price. We had a beautiful view of the river and Navy Pier. The only problem was the very noisy people next door. My husband and I are planning on returning for a longer stay; and we'll stay here.
