Stay in Tinley Park Country Inn and Suites

The hotel was comfortable and the staff was very pleasant. The room was in good order and the maid service was good. The breakfast had a good selection of items and the staff was very friendly and pleasing. Overall we had a good stay

Nice clean friendly

Great beds. Stayed two nights to go to the museums. Not a bad drive to the city. Friendly staff. Great breakfast

Good Location + Nice Amenities

Pros: Front desk staff were very friendly and helped to accommodate our request for a end of hall room.
Cons: Clean the hot tub.
The room was clean, except for the bag of popcorn found in the nightstand drawer. We had issues getting the AC to work properly, but finally got it to work without contacting staff. Hot tub was not very clean; too much foam and grime built up in the corners.

Housekeeping

Housekeeping was very average and border on poor. Of the 6 nights we were their, 3 nights keeping was a no show. Another night we ended up having the front desk bring us towels.

Mixed feelings (dirty, but nice staff)

Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Remodel the rooms, and for the love of God, please CLEAN,CLEAN, CLEAN!
Location: Near freeway and a lot of restaurants and stores.
This is a classic example of where the first impression makes all the difference. When we went to our room we found the door cracked open. Since the beds were made we assumed housekeeping just forgot to close it all the way. After we got settled we noticed that the room was not cleaned properly: saw one hair each on the toilet seat and bathroom counter, food in the fridge left by a previous guest, Dorito crumbs on the desk, Kleenex piece behind the nightstand, and several sticky spots on the table desk. Room decor was plain. One of the remotes was missing the battery cover; didn't affect its function, but was annoying nonetheless. The fold out sofa bed wasn't made; someone just folded it back over the apparently used and crumpled sheets. Yes, we could have requested a room change, but we were tired and did not have the energy to move all our stuff and kids. It was going to be one night and out. ON THE OTHER HAND........the staff was really nice, especially at breakfast. The ladies that worked there were extremely helpful and doted on us and our kids; more so than what you might find in a nice restaurant. The pool also was nice and warm (but still noticed a bunch of candy wrappers strewn here and there).

disappointing

Pros: The staff were very helpful. We had an issue with our bathroom when we got there, and they took care of it right away.
Cons: Rules need to be set and followed through.
Location: There are lots of things for families to do nearby.
I always try and book a Country Inn and Suites whenever I travel because I always have great experiences. My experience at this location was not. There were two large groups staying at the hotel and they ran the show. They were extremely noisy and disrespectful to the other guests. I called the front desk and let them know, and if something was done about it, I wouldn't have known. They continued to be loud and run up and down the halls all night. It was obvious the parents were not establishing any rules, and in that case, the staff should have stepped up for the comfort and safety of the other guests. As we were leaving, the cops were talking to a group of people because there was issues between some guests.

I have addressed this with the other managers of the hotel. A guest did call the authorities on another guest for getting her friends child's shoes wet in the pool area. We hope you will give us another chance if your travels bring you to our area again.

Weekender

Pros: Staff, breakfast, workout room.
Cons: Maybe adult time in the pool...no kids.
Location: Chicago nearby. Tons of shopping in Tinley Park.
Booked online. Fast friendly checkin. Workout room was nice, breakfast was great, both mornings. Breakfast lady was very kind, helpful, and friendly. To many kids in the pool/hot tub, didn't get to enjoy it.
