Horrible customer service and false charges

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Woodale in Chicago IL on dec 3rd. Not only did they check us in under the wrong name, they then put my card number under said name. I found this out when I t tied to purchase a bottle of water. The front desk then supposedly fixed this error, took all my information AGAIN, including husbands credit card info and said it was corrected. We paid in advance through Expedia and charged nothing to the room thus should have been NO CHARGE, especially since they totally messed up our check in. BUT today a charge showed up for $250. I called the front desk to ask why and she told me because they ran my card when they shouldn't have as if I didn't already pay through Expedia and that it would be reversed but I had to call my credit card company and do a conference call to revers it immediately. So I hung up and did a conference call at which time the front desk lady then decided that they were not refunding my money but now we were charged because we smiled in the room and thy had proof. That is absolutely ridiculous. She said she found 'roaches.' I'm an adult. I don't smoke joints in hotel rooms lmao. I don't smoke period so right there that was a complete total LIE!!!! I've spoken with the supervisor whom was extremely rude on the phone and was talking to my like I was a pile of trash. I called the Better Bureau and am waiting for a call back. This is absolutely unacceptable. They are stealing my money. I am demanding a refund of the bogus

The hotel was good, good location, but the GPS will be confused with all these constriction.

near airport

Pros: location
Cons: nothing....
Location: near the airport
we stayed there one night and we were happy that we did. The room was clean and spacious. It was close to the airport. I had to take my sister to the airport in the morning. The front staff was OK. She was not friendly but just did her job, checked us in and gave us the room key. No complains.

Beautiful hotel but...

Pros: Size of hotel, amenities.
Cons: Room service. Housekeeping, tidiness
The hotel was very nice, comfortable bed. Staff was ok at check in. The problem is they don't have Housekeeping! I stayed over the weekend, and for two nights they did not clean the room, nor did the bed, nor anything. they just dropped in new towels everyday. After work, all I want to do is relax in the room, and enjoy the service I paid for. Unacceptable!

Thank you Maria for your feedback. I apologize that housekeeping did not clean your room during your stay with us and I will look into this as to why this wasn't completed. I'm glad that you liked the bed as we just put brand new mattresses in all of our guest rooms recently.

Great stay

The stay was excellent but the only bad thing was that we had to pay for breakfast even though went booked through expedia. The staff was excellent

Thank you for your valued feedback and that you enjoyed your stay with us and that the staff took care of you. The Courtyard Brand does not offer complimentary breakfast so even if you had booked directly with us, breakfast still would not be included.
