Pros: Location! Easy access to public transportation, walking distance to Restaurants, shopping, bars and Lake Michigan/Lincoln Park waterfront.
Cons: Currently, the hotel is undergoing renovation, floor by floor with major changes/improvements coming.
Location: Great independent film theater on the same block, Stan's donuts and Starbucks too. New Banana Republic store a block away as well as Trader Joes.
Outstanding, friendly staff makes staying here a delight from check-in to check-out.

Great Lakeview location

Pros: Big room, walk-in closet, nice bathroom, outlets were easy to access
Cons: some softer pillows to choose from would be nice
Location: Tons of restaurants, small theaters/improv nearby. Nando's PeriPeri, Kuma's Too, Stan's Donuts, Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Wow Bao in this same block.
This is a really nice little hotel! Our hotel room was extra roomy and very comfortable. We loved the location and had dinner at Kuma's Too just down the block, then had a Stan's Donut and coffee for breakfast - also in the same block as the hotel. The hotel DID offer free continental breakfast, but we opted for the famous donuts at Stan's! We parked our car at the parking lot on Clark St next to LA Fitness. I wish the hotel could have validated that ticket, but sadly they don't do that. FYI It did cost $27 to park overnight there. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would definitely go back there.

Overnight for a concert

We only stayed one night, literally to see a concert then go home. Parking was off-site in a garage a few blocks away, but other than that, it was great. Clean and relatively quiet, which I was not expecting as the street outside was busy and loud.

Thank you for your comments. Parking in the city is always at a premium and we have worked hard to find the most economical for our guests. Please come visit again. Great concerts at Wrigley Field this summer.

The hotel was very nice and our 1st night was perfect. The 2nd night at 3a my husband had go in the hall and ask all the drunk people coming in to be quiet. It was fine again after 4a

Great for visits to this area, super nice little clean room, very nice front desk people, great location. Easy to do valet parking, we just used the pay yourself lot which was also easy. Would definitely recommend this and would come back.

Nice hotel for my short stay.

Pros: centrally located, clean, friendly staff and very helpful and attentive.
Cons: Newer, more quiet air condition/heater units. Move guest room away from storage area or whatever it is used for.
I was there for a short visit with friends. I was pleased that it was centrally located to where I needed to be, in a safe location, with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Big thank you to Frankie for helping with what could have been a big difficulty for me. The fact that he helped make it easier to rectify and I'm very appreciative. The room was spacious enough, comfortable bed, and clean. The ONLY thing I could complain about would be the heater/air condition was extremely noisy, so much that I couldn't hear the TV when it was running, and the room was located right next to an "employees only" area that must have been the area where things are stored, cause there was a lot of noises at all hours. It would be better if there was no guest room near that area. Otherwise my stay was great.
