Unfortunately our room was dirty when we arrived. We never were able to get house keeping to come to our room. Had to ask front desk for lots of things.

Staff was super friendly. Hallways could have used a vacuum. Rooms were very clean. Bed quite comfortable. I would stay again.

Nice on surface, poor under the covers!
Very nice place and nice decor at first blush. This was our second stay at this place in two weeks. Same deficiencies, so it wasn't a fluke. Cookies at check in! Very Nice pool. However: 1. Shower handle was broken/loose. Told front desk - no change in 48 hours. 2. Bathroom layout is poor. Have to get in shower under faucet to turn it on. 3. Internet was terrible. Every time we logged in we had different experiences (wife and I). Sometimes it failed. Sometimes it asked you to become a Honors member. Very flaky and unlike another Hilton I'm in right now which is perfect. 4. Clock was 12 hours off without a way to reset it to the correct time. 5. Continuous fan while in auto mode. Never shuts off. 6. No towel racks, only two small hooks. Use the top of doors instead! And no baths fan. 7. No body wash in shower - only shampoo and conditioner. Two small, pitiful bars of soap were provided. 8. No breakfast included. 9. Business Center was closed. 10. Ice machine on 1st floor inoperable. 11. Refrigerator inoperable. No switch to turn on and no temperature selector. 12. No microwave.

Pretty nice place with some odd drawbacks
Clean, upscale and modern. Pretty chic-looking. However, not sure about the interior designing. For example, no towel racks just a couple of hooks on door? No bathroom fan? The air conditioner controls - odd. Had auto set but even when I changed the commanded temperature, fan ran all night. The awkward shower entry that forced you to get in, stand under the shower head to turn it on? No body wash in the shower or no conditioner? But they had two shampoo dispensers and a lotion dispenser. No place to put my shaving cream and razor in the shower except on the floor? Also, odd, non-consistent log on experiences to the wi-fi. My wife had to create a Hilton Honors account while I didn’t.

Best hotel option by far in the area for a reasonable price. A bit older but still nice- staff was very friendly and helpful. Mundelein itself doesn't have a ton going for it so you'll likely be driving/taking an uber to get to places
