Spring Break getaway

Cons: Enclosed Walk way to pool
Location: Venutti's excellent
Everything was good but would recommend nightly cleaning of hot tub along with during fall and winter putting up portable enclosed walkway to pool/ bowling alley. Restaurant was great bowling alley fun and staff were all very pleasant.

Not that impressed

A nice stay the downsize is swimming pool should be inside will not be returning for.that price need inside pool plus had to pay extra to use pool.

Good but, not great.

Pros: Breakfast Buffet. Bowling. Golf Course.
Cons: The ability to order Room Service. Walking outside of the Main Building to get to Swimming Pool area was strange and inconvenient. Larger Trash Cans
Location: Location was convenient and close to many restaurants.
Check-in went smooth. Courteous Front Desk Staff. The room was a little dated. Broken door closer. Broken handle on dresser drawer. Breakfast Buffet on Sunday was great with a lot of healthy options. Went to eat the Breakfast Buffet on a Monday @ 9:15 am prior to checking out. However, the Staff had to break down the Buffet area early to prepare for a large lunch crowd. We had to order off the Limited Breakfast Menu instead of getting the Buffet (which should have been available until 10:30 am). Courteous Housekeeping Staff.

Im pretty easy going BUT...

I was looking for a special place to "sneak away" with my husband of 37 years. A couples massage. A dip in the pool. Dinner at Sullivan's in Lincolnshire followed by seeing "Sister Act" at the Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre. We walked a LONG way to get to room 561. A breathtaking view of the ROOF. Ice on the 4th floor.... Follow the noise. No hairdryer. No mini frig. Loud outside noise (OHARE AIRPORT). Couldn't get a massage unless we wanted back to back 60 minute massages (tried to schedule THAT when we made reservations) The pool is on the FAR side of the parking lot, detached from the room building. We had the nibbles & after hiking back to the front desk, paid $$ for two 1.8 oz bags of popcorn . I read somewhere that it was 17 miles to the theatre. It took close to an hour. Maybe I was dazzled by the words "Resort & Spa" or awed by the beautiful pictures but this wasn't what I desired and I'm sure we won't be returning......WELL, that was LAST nights review.... The bed was like a rock, you can't fluff the pillow-too soft, a bill under my door - Amenity Fee Transient $$.$$ (because I booked on Hotels.com they were going to charge me for the bottles of complimentary water, coffee, ice, use of the pool & fitness center) AND housekeeping knocking on my door at 8:40 (because I didn't hang out the "Do Not Disturb" sign) !! DEFINITELY NOT COMING BACK!!

Fine for an overnight

We were aware that staying at the hotel during off-season would be a different experience than during the busy summer months. But we were disappointed by a few things. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. We had intended on sleeping in, as this is something we can't do at home, but by 7 am, we both gave up. The bed was awful. And while the spa was lovely, it would be nice to have it connected to the hotel. The staff was wonderful. We had dinner and the breakfast buffet - both were fine.

Nice resort close to Chicago

Great Valentine's Day getaway for the hubby and I. They had several restaurants on the premises, bowling, spa & pool. Would definitely recommend to others.
