Did not meet expectations

Pros: Was unable to find anything in particular that we liked.
Cons: Perhaps we stay at another location in the future.
Location: Location a bit shady.
No cleaning staff available; no kitchen utensils, dishes, etc., no clean towels available, room not cleaned daily, no breakfast other than a muffin & coffee.

Nice hotel close to the airport

If you need a place to spend the night and go about your business during the day this place is perfect. Its close to the airport, close to the train station, and has plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel staff is friendly and will gladly help you out if you need anything. The beds are OK and the rooms are clean.

Airport hotel smells bad

Nice new hotel facilities but immediately hit with the smell of curry when entering the room. The window was even left open by housekeeping but did not mask the smell. Aside from that deal breaker, windows only have blackout drapes and no sheers.

Close to airport but not worth 100 per night.

Don't believe the free breakfast! It is a small muffin and granola bar. While that is nice if them that is not breakfast. However you can get it at 430 am which is nice. The shuttle is free but overall this place is not a nice hotel.

Pretty disgusting.

Looked like the room wasn't vacuumed. Stains on the sheets. Toilet didn't work. Air conditioning didn't work. The room wasn't stocked with eating utensils.

Great for purpose

I stayed one night to catch an early flight the next day. Room was fine in all aspects for this purpose. One minor issue with the toilet that hotel staff came immediately and fixed. I would stay again for the same purpose.

Great location for airport and car rental services! Staff was nice. My flight was delayed so I called ahead to inform them and the person I spoke to left a message saying that I wouldn't arrive until afte midnight.

During Renovation

Pros: For being so near the airport and highway, if found this location quiet and peaceful.
Location: Location is fantastic, walking distance of such a variety of places to eat and shop. Easy driving distance to many more places for fun and adventure.
The workstaff was very courteous about renovating rooms only during specific hours of the day, not during the evening or night or morning. I would likely not have known of the renovations had i been out for the day each day of my stay. Overall, the staff was right on top of things and pleasant. Very accessible. And did not "bother" me to "make sure" i was doing okay. The only real complaint i have is the overpowering smell of cleaner that lasted a whole day after i arrived. As a former maid, i worried this was a maid's trick of leaving a small puddle of cleaner somewhere in lieu of a regular cleaning. However, the room, the kitchenette, and the bathroom were not unclean. Only the dusty fixtures (hair dryer, towel rack, picture frame) in the bathroom spoke of quick attention there. The horrible cleaner aromatic was not at all needed (with even moderate rinsing, heavier traces of cleaner should disburse in hours, not take a full day). Using Expedia made the entire experience smoother. They sent a shuttle to get me from the airport right away, and hecking out took about 5 seconds!

Good choice!

I don't know why all the bad reviews for room cleanliness? I chose this hotel because it was about Half the price of the next place. Couple minor stains on the carpet? Sure, but I bet your house has that too. The room was clean and large and very quiet! Seriously I cant stress how quiet it is. Your right near o'hare and I heard only 1 plane barely all night. I stayed at another place near here last fall and you heard every single plane all night at 2x this price. Breakfest was a choice of a few muffins, so you will probably want to find a place, but again your saving a lot compared to other hotels so not a big deal, was enough to take the edge off until your ready to leave. It was my first time staying at an extended stay and it won't be my last! If I am back in this area again I would choose this hotel again.

Walking distance from All state Arena BUT....

Our room reeked of cigarette smoke and the hallway of another very distinctive smell-SKUNK! As we were leaving for the day we met an interesting man in the lobby who informed us he was on a tether, recently released from prison and was living at the hotel. Just when I felt safe he also informed us that there is A LOT of prostitution at the hotel....yay us.....didn't sleep a wink now worried about our safety and whether the room was infested with bed bugs.....the room had a kitchen which upon entry we were very pleased with, but of course no dishware of any kind....no cups even those that ALL hotels provide....I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!
