Nice hotel in Chicago's NW

Pros: its cleanness
Cons: There was no airport shuttle, to our disappointment.
Location: We did not stay long enough to discover the area, unfortunately.
We only stayed at the hotel one night but it looked like it would have served anyone who needed a place for several days or even weeks. The kitchen was spotless, and a set of dishes and basic silverware and so on was brought to our room within 5 minutes of our asking. There were no restaurants within walking distance.

Efficient

Pros: Easy access to highway, restaurants, shopping, entertainment
Cons: better selection of breakfast offerings, asst of mixing bowls and other kitchen utensils for those that utilize kitchenette, addition of dishwasher
Location: Woodfield Mall is close, along with lots of restaurants, other shopping and entertainment
They advertise that they offer breakfast but that is nothing more than muffins or donuts, with coffee, tea or hot chocolate. The room was clean and a good size. If you choose to use the kitchenette you need to check whatever dishes and cook ware you want out from the front desk. There are no kitchen supplies in the rooms. Bathroom counter space is a bit small.

Served it's purpose.

Pros: price
Cons: I don't think much. It is what it is.
Location: Short drive or very long walk to amenities like Woodfield Mall.
Decent room at affordable price. Not within walking distance to anything. Parking was limited in the evening. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms was spacious and basic.

As you pointed out, we are not really within walking distance of Woodfield Mall but there is a Bus Route that goes up and down Golf Rd. This allows you access to the Mall as well as the stores and restaurants that are just East of the hotel. Thanks again and we hope to see you again in the future.

bed was way too hard and there was a mysterious LARGE bug in the room to greet us

Wall near the bed had something all over it. Hotel needs to purchaae NEW towels!

Dark, dirty, hot & smells of cigarette smoke. For the price I would have expected a much better experience. I could have had a nice room at Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn for a lot less. Minimal cable channels. Need to request kitchenware, they do not automatically provide. No housekeeping if you stay under a week- that's fine but they don't even empty garbage! They provide one small garbage can in the bathroom, that's it. If you are going to be that tight with garbage cans, at least have the courtesy to empty it daily! I went to the desk to request ice and was told they don't have an ice machine. What?! Again, never again- very unpleasant experience!

No dishes/appliances in room?

Cons: Put dishes/appliances in room, at a extended stay place one should not have to check out what they need for dishes & appliances.
For a extended stay there were no dishes/appliances in room, you had to ask for them at the front desk! Also free breakfast was awful!! You have a better selection at a gas station & better quality! They only had coffee, nature valley granola bars & the choice of fruit was apples only. Room was clean and bed comfortable though. Amenities Just not what I would've expected from a extended stay hotel.

Nonsmoking room???

Cons: a/c system, nonsmoking room
Location: schamburg, 2000 golf road
I reserved nonsmoking room, but room was full of smoke. Fan didn't function properly. Every time I opened the bathroom, the smoking smells from next door or neighbor. I and my friend can't sleep because of smell.. They have to fix air conditioning and ventilation system. I never recommend this hotel. I told staff and he said he would contact me to refund half of money because of my horrible experience, but he never contact to me.

this hotel is 1.5 Star.

Pros: If we want to book kichenate type hotel for long stay with 2 Star, I will be satisfied even if same price.
Cons: To offer correct star level for long stay with kitchen type.
Location: Eating and shopping
If I got this hotel as 1.5 or 2 Star for long stay even if same price, I would never claim . But when we got this hotel with 2.5 Star ,every one cannot accept this hotel. Who can say this hotel is same level as Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn. Every thing is bellow than 2 Star level , Bedding ,linen, bath towels all amenities are poor and shabby. Especially breakfast is tertible, it is not a breakfast just snack. Please reconsider your rating. I cannot trust your rating if you said Extended Stay America hotels are 2.5 Star.
