Worst stay ever!

When myself, my husband, and our four children checked in at 2:15am our room smelled like someone had just finished a cigarette in there. When I asked for another room, the man at the front desk said they were full and handed me a bottle of febreeze. It worked well enough to sleep, but then we noticed that the lock had been taken out of the bathroom door, a drawer would not stay closed in the dresser and the TV in the living room didn't work. When I told the front desk the next morning before we left for the afternoon, he apologized, said they would comp the room and have everything fixed by the time we returned and that the smoke had come up from the first floor room directly below us. I was satisfied, but when we returned at 3:30pm, nothing had been fixed and the room had not even been cleaned. At 3:50pm, as we were getting ready to go to a wedding, housekeeping came and I asked them to come back in an hour. She said she couldn't because she gets off in half an hour! Then a few minutes later her supervisor knocks on the door and in a rude manner asks when we will be leaving, to which I answered 4:30pm. When we finally left at 4:45 they were standing right outside the door waiting for us to leave. We had been gone for four hours, so I'm not sure why they hadn't cleaned it earlier. We were checking out the next day, which check out is at 11, and housekeeping showed up at 9:30am, waking us after our late night! In my opinion, they need new housekeeping management.
