They need to make hotel parking more affordable. We paid for 2 days of parking at a lot across the street for less than one day the hotel charges. It was a little inconvenient having to walk across the street to get to your car, but when you are traveling with kids and are on a budget every dollar saved helps.

buena ubicacion falta de serivicio

Posted Jul 18, 2016

City hotel

Posted Jul 17, 2016
Pros: Rooms are quiet. Views are great. Staff could be more pleasant.
Cons: Staff could be more pleasant
Location: Great location, close to Grant Park, Shedd Aquarium, Planetarium, Art Museum and the Tourist Boat Tours.
We paid for our room, breakfast included, 3 months ahead of getting there. We had the room we paid for but, after we left we got a bill for food and beverages ( purchase of coupons for food and beverages). Expedia does not offer help to find out what this means. We never ate there but, the breakfast brunch 3 days, that we had, like I said before, already paid when we made our reservation.

Nice Hotel right in the Chicago Loop

Posted Jul 16, 2016
The hotel was beautiful, rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. The only down side Was not in the hotel's control and that was the outside noise. The hotel is right in the Loop, so is very close to the train which went by frequently. I could have gotten used to that as background noise, but turns out the night I was staying there, they were filming a movie a block away and there was loud noise and yelling until about midnight. Again, the hotel couldn't help this, but if you need quiet to sleep I would recommend staying further outside downtown and taking the train in.

Perfect base camp for exploring Chicago

Posted Jun 8, 2016
As a first time tourist to Chicago, my family's itinerary consisted of architectural boat tour, Millenium Park, Science Museum, Lake front biking, Sears Tower etc. The hotel was perfectly situated to get to all of these activities. Even with a two year old in tow, getting to the parks, Michigan Ave stroll, and the loop were all easy. The hotel was quite comfortable with a nice (but crowded) swimming pool and hot tub. Our room faced Lake Michigan with a great view over the greenery of Milleneum Park to the waterfront and Navy Pier and the crown of Buckingham fountain in the distance. I would definitely stay here again in my next visit to Chicago

Nice location, a LITTLE DATED, UNDERSTAFFED

Posted Jun 1, 2016
Pros: location
Cons: alot, see above. modern rooms, better internet, more staff
We like the Hilton Brand and this site had the title and the location but very poor service. We were disappointed in the free internet..as it was non existent in our rooms..had to go to the lobby to work. We asked them to try to fix it..they said they couldn't. Called guest services on friday night as the tv was not working...was on hold for 20 mins..they said it was a busy time....I felt they should have more staff. Rooms are dated. room service ends at midnight. I expected better

Loved the hotel.

Posted Apr 25, 2016
We upgraded when we got there for just $40 per night, and got a gorgeous room on the 15th floor with two full bathrooms. Never had any problems at the hotel at all - staff and service was excellent. The restaurants and bars are so nice, too. Our beds were so comfy we didn't want to leave. I'm a very picky traveler, having stayed in great hotels in Hong Kong, and this was a great experience. Also very close to the colleges, Second City, shopping. I will definitely be back.
