NOT WORTH THE MONEY

Room was old musty and had to change rooms due to my sons allergies. The floor was flooded with kids broken glass down the hall. Drugs in the elevator out of the 7 days had to take my kids 3 days to stay at friends due to the marijuana smell and banging on the doors. We did not feel safe! The only nice thing was the pool but everything else super outdated!

needs some updating and serious repairs in pool

The rooms are very spacious & clean. The design of hotel is not typical, & can lead to some confusion. The pool is nice & big, but it had terrible leaks all over. It was raining & there were drips pretty much anywhere you were in the pool area. The ladies locker room had a missing shower curtain in one of th two showers & one of the two bathroom stalls had a lock that was not working. It also had a nonfunctioning paper towel machine. There was a slide at the pool that is really not suited for younger children, but my 7 year old loved it. There is also not much of a shallow end, no zero depth at all for little ones. The hot tub was cool, it had a waterfall flowing into it. The jets on the lower part had almost scalding water pushing out if it. Overall, we had a good time & the kids loved swimming...I think all issues are easily solved with a little more TLC from the management & staff.

Needed a late checkout due to very late check in but staff was unable to help. Nice hotel overall though.

Quiet getaway

The resort was ok.. I booked the resort because of the fact that it stated that they did in room massages. I arrived at the resort only to find out that the spa and massage palor had been closed down for some time. In fact a great portion of the resort was closed. The food was ok. There was a microwave on the first floor for all guest. The room was small with a mini fridge, and a small shower. Overall I expected more for a resort. I would not return.

Don't Stay Here

Cons: everything
My room smelled like a locker room and was the size of a shoebox. The breakfast buffet had the worst food. The eggs weren't even eggs. They were eggs substitute. One of the dingiest hotels I have stayed at. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

We have stayed at this property for several years and have noticed a decline in maintenance & upkeep of the hotel. We love staying here with all the great features. Its age is starting to show and needs some TLC.

architectural gem

great architecture, love the fire place and indoor pool. Was disappointed the spa was permanently closed.

Beautiful space but lacking upkeep

We were told the Doubletree bought the property so you could tell they weren't keeping it up nice. Will be interesting to see what the new ownership does with the property.
