DisappointedPosted Aug 13, 2016
The front of hotel and lobby area was very nice. There was zero parking in the front of the building, you had to be a member of the hotel rewards to have a parking spot which I was not. The clerk told me to drive around back and park near my room. The back half of hotel was very old and out dated and kind of scary. Bed was very old and uncomfortable, bathtub was old and nonslip grip was peeling and nasty. Pool area was nice, breakfast buffet wasn't that great, I could have saved money and went to a restaurant, the breakfast staff was very nice.

Convenient place to stay for our one day trip.Posted Aug 5, 2016
Pros: Great experience with staff at check in and check out.
Cons: Cleanliness of bathroom/particularly the bathtub.
Location: Many restaurants to choose from and shopping close by. Also very close to the highway that got us back into the City.
We booked this hotel as we were going to a concert in Chicago at the United Center. We new we would need a place to stay over and sleep at that wasn't too far from the venue. It was just myself and my son. We were asked at check in if we wanted a King size bed or 2 doubles, which I am glad we had the option. There appeared to be some sort of event happening at the hotel, and I was thankful that our room was not close by the event so that it would not be too loud or noisy. The hotel was nice, however, you could see that it was older and they had done some remodeling to make it a nicer place to stay. The rooms were pretty clean, though not fine details, a few dust bunnies and the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. I f I were a bath person, I would not have taken a bath in the bath tub. Overall it was a perfect fit for our short stay.

Nice hotel, not too far away from everythingPosted Aug 2, 2016
Cons: the carpet in the hallways
Wanted to stay close to the action without paying an arm and leg for the experience. We used "Uber" everywhere we went and the highest we paid was $29 to go from the hotel all the way to Navy Pier. Would recommend the hotel. Right across the road from a police station and it's in a great location so we never felt unsafe.

Nice hotel. Hotel could use new and better paint job and the pool could stay open later, it closed at 9pm. A courtesy vn would be nice.

Nice hotel close to shopping and restaurants.Posted Jul 6, 2016
I stayed there during my family reunion and the food catered was awesome and very tasty. Loved having a night cap at Bar Louie as all the bartenders were very attentive and knowledgeable.

Fine HotelPosted May 31, 2016 on Hotels
The room was fine for the price. Large room & it was clean. Older hotel. We had a issue with parking. We went out Saturday night & when we came back there was no parking because there were 2 weddings. The manager went outside & held a spot for us so that was cool!
