Lost my fly conection

My wife and I missed our airplane to return home and needed to stay in Chicago. The staff at Holiday Inn were great and the place nice. We had breakfast at the restaurant. It was delicious and the servers were great. I would recommend this place.

Convenient west suburban location

The staff greats the guests with a very friendly hello and a smile and try their best to exceed expectations. The building is tired needing some overhauling but is kept clean.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. My ONLY complaint was my room didn't have a fridge. The room was big and clean and up to date, the amenities were all excellent and comfortable, (pool, sauna, hot tub were all clean and easy to use, so was the exercise room. Internet was fast...) the staff went out of their way to take good care of us. I will come back the next time I'm in the city.

Great staff, poor experience.

The bed was really hard hurting my back. Normally when we stay the beds are soft. The toilet was extremely low to the ground, top of bowl being about 1 foot off the ground. Couldn't use the pool the 1 day we wanted to because it was left dirty and in very poor condition. Multiple people reported this and the management had to have it cleaned. The next day, the pool was being overpowered with high levels of chlorine. Breakfast wasn't available on Easter in the normal cafe so we were forced to get up, get dressed, and travel out of town to Ihop. Other than that, staff are friendly and willing to help and the location is good. My fiance and I do like this hotel and have stayed multiple times. Just make sure you test your room first before committing to it.

Further, we apologize for the dirty and unusable pool, as we understand that our pool is a great amenity, and many guests stay with us for that reason specifically. Our staff has been trained to keep a closer eye on the pool, to make sure it usable during all hours of operation. Very disappointed

The pool and jacuzzi were locked for both nights I was there, the hot water wasn't working, and there was loud music playing all day. When I tried contacting the front desk, no one answered.

Hotel needs major updates for the price they charg

Hotel definitely needs to be updated. Furniture in our room was dated and damaged, room was small and had two full beds instead of two quin beds. I guess because of the size of the room they could not fit two quin beds in it. Paint was peeling from the ceiling, windows were old, unmovable and not soundproofed at all. A major highway was right under our windows and noise was really bothering, especially during night hours. Heating/cooling unit was also noisy and I even thought they did it on purpose to cover up noise coming from highway. Toilet in the bathroom was extremely low - I am 5'6" and it was very uncomfortable for me to use it, I can only imagine how uncomfortable it was for a taller person. It was raining all day Saturday and I could see buckets on the lobby's floor, catching water, coming from the ceiling - it was very depressing. We were obligated to stay in this particular hotel because of the rules of soccer tournament our son was participating in. For the same price, which was not cheap at all, we could definitely get a much better hotel in the same area. The only good think about this hotel was people, who works there. They were very accommodating to our needs. Despite an outdated condition, hotel staff is trying to keep rooms as clean as they could be and I wish corporate would help them to bring this hotel up to date and up to speed by updating old uncomfortable rooms.

The hotel is OK nice pool and workout area. A bit dated but clean and the staff was very nice .

It was good the elevator was out of service so it was an inconvenience. The first room couldn't get in it the door security latch was in the away.

Pleasant Surprise

Pros: Staff, Amenities, Clean, easy to get to, good parking. everyone very helpful.
Used to live nearby. Moved out of state. Came back this weekend to visit friends and family and needed a place to stay. It was close to where I needed to be. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was top notch. Would definitely stay there again.
