Close to downtown... Room was not as advertised

Room was not as advertised... Reservations were for 1 king and were given room with2 double beds... Advertised deep soaking tub... That did not happen

Nice hotel reasonably priced in downtown chicago

Clean and staff were extremely courteous. Convenient location Parking was expensive

South of the loop

Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Cons: Nothing really, it’s an older hotel without a tremendous amount of charm.
The hotel is very close to Union Satation and the “Blue Line” subway. It is a bit of a walk to Chicago’s most popular destinations, but an easy walk for a fit individual and reasonable cab ride for those not inclined to walk. Even for two seventy year olds, Greektown and the Fulton Street Market area were walkable.

Close to the Mag Mile

The staff was great. Check in was easy. Wasn’t a fan of the $50 parking fee and the $50 charge that should be refunded if there was no damage. Think those are some things people should be aware of beforehand.

Easy to find. Convenient to walk around to restaurants and shopping. Good restaurant on property as well. Parking was easy. City pay lot as you exit the hotel for half the price of valet.

The hotel is not in Downtown

The hotel is in a old part of the city, nothing around there yes old buildings and there is a fee of 50.00 dlls y you are draving and what to park your car there, so look for more option, when you add up is expensive for that place.

Adequate hotel just outside the Loop

Pros: adequate facilities, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: facilities for dinner in the hotel.
Location: nothing to do in the immediate area. Restaurants in Greektown are a close cab ride and quite good--try the Athena. CTA Clinton station very close.
The hotel has adequate and clean rooms and public areas. It is in an area somewhat removed from downtown with few shops or amenities in the immediate vicinity. The big plus was John, one of the bellmen, who is particularly friendly and helpful. The biggest negative was the restaurant facilities for dinner, when the main dining area is closed and one must eat in the bar, a dark and somehow grungy venue with loud rap music playing during the short time our party looked in before going to Greektown to eat..

Holiday Inn Chicago

Pros: Location.
Cons: Nothing can be done about traffic noise. So I'd say the hotel is just fine.
Location: I only spent one night in Chicago to attend a workshop at the university of Illinois. I had no chance to see what is nearby. I had dinner at the Sunny
Greatly convenient location, walking distance to Metro and University. The room was a bit noisy. Spotlessly clean.

Great hotel for the price!

This hotel was top notch for the price. Everyone was friendly. Location was a little further than what I liked. Pillows were FABULOUS! Would recommend.
