Poor service and laughable "breakfast"

Although this B&B was in a beautiful location, we were extremely disappointed in our stay. From the time we arrived, the host was apathetic. He barely explained what we were to do, which wasn't a huge issue because we received an email with lots of info, but he definitely didn't share that the toilet was broken. Or "leaking so the water is turned off". He just dismissively advised that we turn the water on and off when we need to use the restroom AFTER we had to go find him and ask why it wasn't flushing.
When my partner asked him where we could find an iron, he lazily gave some instructions (rather than show us??) and went back to doing what he was doing.
And finally, it being called a "bed and breakfast" is laughable. For what we were charged, I'd expect much more than a kitchen with only bananas, stale cereal, and foldger's coffee.
So, while the location is beautiful (and close enough to downtown for a $15 uber), the poor service and "breakfast" doesn't quite make it worth it for me to ever consider staying here again

Sorry that you had a bad experience with us. Unfortunately people misunderstand the idea of what a Bed and Breakfast is. We are not a large chain hotel and we ask guest that if there are issues to contact us. We live on the property and anything is easily fixed. In the future we asked that individuals research bed and breakfast before booking with us. Major Hotel joins would be more suitable for your type of guest.
