I did like our double bed-room but the bathtub was very narrow, even for a shower. My daughter in law got a single bed room and she had a nice walk in shower. People talking in the hallway echoed loudly early in the morning. No elevator but I knew that when I booked the room. Staff very friendly! The restaurant next door had really good food. Not far from the Base for Navy graduation.

It was not what I expected. What is advertised online compared to what you get when you show up are two totally different sights. As soon as you walk in it smells like cigarettes and marijuana smell. The hallway was dirty and the room itself was just terrible. I had to go to Target to get disinfectant wipes and sprays to clean the restroom. Who ever does your house cleaning needs to do a better job at it. The toilet was really dirty with hairs and all. Not a good experience at all. Tried to get a different room but unfortunately all the rooms were already booked. I will not recommend this place to my family. I expected a lot more from the Howard Johnson brand.

Loved my stay. Booked 3 rooms for family that came down for Navy graduation. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and efficient. Hotel is older but rooms have been updated. Quiet and close to the base, food, and gas.

The outside was nothing to write home about. However, when you went inside, it was really quite beautifully done. The room was clean, bright and the location is nice and quiet and centrally located.

the condition of the rooms and the facility was incredibly low quality. The room was dirty and smelled like someone had just smoked cigarettes in there. It was nothing like the description provided. The halls smelled and the hotel was very low quality. I have medical illnesses and this place made me feel sick.

Great staff.
My room was quaint and very clean. The walls are thin however an my neighbors were inconsiderate. Besides that, the location was conveniently located near base, the staff amazingly kind and a nice local restaurant was located close by.

We stayed for my son’s Navy Graduation and it’s 5 minutes away from post. Small hotel and old but has been renovated. Still needs some attention like bathrooms are super tiny and our bathroom door didn’t closed properly. Beds are full size and springs. It has fridge and microwave. A/C worked great. Breakfast is just coffee, juice and some snacks. You can hear all kinds of noise, since it’s close to the road. The room was cleaned daily. Only complaint was the last night the entire hallway smelled like cigarettes, super strong. Like someone was smoking inside. Check out was smooth and service was great.

Don’t ever stay here!
The smell that is in the hotel is disgusting. I don’t know if it’s mold, mildew or something rotting. They try to cover it up with a million air fresheners on the wall. They say they have a small casino, fitness center and breakfast and they have muffins and day old coffee, the casino and restaurant is next door not even attached to the hotel and there is no fitness center. All the pictures and details were a lie. We had to leave the window open 24/7 to get any kind of fresh air in and that was still minimal

The property was in a quiet area across from a great restaurant gojos i was actually more impressed by the customer service food was great. The hotel didn’t have a continental breakfast as described but the restaurant across the way fixed that. This hotel is on the older side but it was within our budget also it has no elevator. Overall i like the hotel.
