Nice hotel and Great location!

Posted Jul 27, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Have blackout blinds in rooms
Location: Close to lake front, Wrigley Field, and downtown Chicago.
We were in town for some Cubs games. The hotel is within walking distance to Wrigley Field and to the lake front for morning jogs. Bus stops and the train station is very convenient also. My only complain was there were no blackout blinds in our room. The sun rises very early in the summer so it was hard to sleep in. The windows have air conditioning units so you are unable to close curtains, but a blackout blind that you could pull down to the unit would have helped!

Great Place To Stay While In Chicago

Posted Jul 21, 2016
Pros: Everything!
My wife and I were recently in Chicago and stayed at the Inn at Lincoln Park. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, well kept and had every thing that we needed and asked for. It was large, had a frig and microwave in it too, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Their breakfast lounge was well kept and stocked with several types of cereals, fruit, waffles, bagels, Danish rolls, and French toast, along with a variety of coffees, teas, juices etc. There was plenty for all of the guests, a great area to eat and to catch up on the morning news. There are several restaurants with in easy walking distance of the hotel, check out the ones on Broadway St, you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be going back to Chicago as there is so much to see and do all year round and we will be staying at the Inn at Lincoln Park when we do!

Nice staff. Quaint hotel

Needed a clean bed and easy overnight parking near Wrigley Field, and this was perfect. The area was within walking distance from park, safe and convent. Nice, helpful staff. Thanks

Parking is $30, or $15 per night to park a block away in a parking structure. Traffic to the parking structure was a total nightmare. Had to circle for 20 mins just to get there. I would recommend paying the extra $15 to park in the small lot at the hotel. Also, in the structure, you have to leave your car there until the next day. You can't come and go. The breakfast was very below average for a continental breakfast. There was no hot water whatsoever the morning I tried to take a shower. This was apparently a one-time problem, though, that was fixed by the time I was checking out. I would stay again for the price and location alone.

Convenient Lincoln Park location. Clean, nice staff. The free internet is so slow it reminded me of dial-up modems. $10/day will get you an upgrade, or you can go to the coffee shop next door and use free wifi.
